http://amex.com.au/refer/markuhVdP8
Details and 'terms & conditions' of the offer are available by clicking the link, but I will summarise the key points. Also, I have held this card for about six months and have used it a fair bit so
I am happy to answer any questions about this card via PM.
Firstly, the 112,500 bonus points for you are made up of:
-5,000 Qantas Points after your first Card spend within 3 months of the Card approval date;
-105,000 Qantas Points after you spend $1,500 on purchases with your new Card within 3 months of the Card approval date; and
-2,500 Qantas Points after your first Card spend on selected Qantas products and services in Australia (flights, flight gift vouchers, seat selection payment, flight award fees etc.).
Other features of the card:
-3 Qantas Points per dollar spent at tens of thousands of restaurants in Australia, and selected Qantas products and services in Australia-2 Qantas Points per dollar spent on airlines, accommodation, major cruise and tour operators paid directly or through travel agencies, and spend in foreign currency when overseas and online
-1 Qantas Point per dollar spent at all other providers, excluding those listed as earning 0.5 points below and insurances offered by American Express
-0.5 Qantas Points per dollar spent on utilities (gas, water and electricity providers), insurance offered by companies other than American Express, telecommunication providers (including goods and services purchased from phone, mobile and internet service providers) and government bodies including the Australian Taxation Office, Australia Post, federal/state and local government bodies
-A complimentary Qantas domestic return Economy flight to a range of cities each Membership year after your first Card spend on selected Qantas products and services.
-Complimentary access up to two entries per calendar year to the American Express Lounge at Sydney International (Kingsford Smith) Airport T1.
-Complimentary domestic and overseas travel insurance
-0% p.a. on balance transfers for the first 12 months — A one-off credit plan establishment fee of 1% applies to any balances transferred.
-An annual fee of $450
The sign-up bonus alone make this a very juicy offer, and the free flight helps further justify the annual fee. Furthermore, I find the higher earn rates on selected spend categories make this is a valuable card to hold on to; the 3 points per dollar at restaurants and cafes add for anyone who eats out at all, though where I have really made hay is earning 2 points per dollar on three business class flights to Europe bought through Expedia.
This really is a great card for someone who spends a lot on travel given the double points on a number of travel-related categories and the triple points on selected Qantas services.
