Just have to work out exactly what qualifies as a spend to get my free flight !

Any spend on Qantas Air Australia. So flights departing Australia, and other airline spend (not hotels, cars, etc).

Am going a little cross-eyed reading this thread and the other on Amex Rewards card but am in urgent need of points to complete OW RTW booking .... can someone tell me if there's any benefit to getting supplementary cards on the Qantas Ultimate? I know there is on the other but am halfway through application ...
Cheers for help

I don't think there is a bonus for supplementary cards anymore - it is worth getting some for the extra statement credit offers you can register for though

Hi all

I recently used just under half of my bonus points from this card to book a first class trip from Auckland to Sydney, flying Emirates. You can check out my first class Emirates review here: https://thechampagnemile.com/2017/01/08/ek419_f/

You too can earn a return first class trip on this route by signing up for the Qantas Ultimate card by Jan 30th. You'll get up to 112,500 Qantas points plus a return domestic Qantas airfare - all this value more than offsets the annual fee. I'll receive 20,000 Qantas points for anyone who applies with my referral link, which is: https://www316.americanexpress.com/...&mgmerSource=mgmerHub&MGMURN=AAAFAggPFxAdCg==

Hi all - sharing my referral link also in the hope someone is nice enough to use it. (expires 30/1/17)
I am 4 weeks into my new card which I applied for immediately after cancelling my Amex Plat. I still have the Velocity Plat and had no issue with the points being credited.
Referral offer will deliver up to 112.5k QANTAS points to the applicant and I will receive 20k.
