Looking forward to a 15% discount code to purchase some nice French champagne off epiquire after my first flounge run loving the Bollinger, never really been a sparkling white fan, other than grant burge, I really enjoyed the fine stuff a treat :)

Same! Next up is Red Claw Pinot 2010

I'll be bringing my Red Claw home and open on the weekend. My last 2 bottles of the John Duval GSM were fine, so presume the provenance wasn't as good.

give it some air or pour it through an aerator. A good drop IMHO.

Let me see if the second glass is better than the first ;)

Last I checked, despite serving it in the F lounge, they don't sell it?

I picked some of this up recently and NOT through epiQure... I thought they were marketing it as a "QF exclusive"?

At the AFF6 BBQ Qantas EpiQure provided some bottles for members to enjoy!

I don't think there were tastings so much as drinking.

I recall after OzFest ADL talking to a few members who were interested in a McLaren Vale mini-Do, but not sure anything ever came of it.

I was only reading last night that the next OzFest in Perth includes a Swan Valley wine tour, for those that have no interest in AFL.

Unfortunately I missed the boat, but I have waitlisted for that activity.

Also, I will be arriving early to spend 2 days touring the Margaret River with some friends from the USA before the do starts. Looking forward to it :)

Maybe I should do a wine TR, although that is FT, not AFF.

Red Claw is hardly QF exclusive - very common!

I know, I meant that their marketing suggested it was an exclusive vintage or some such thing... obviously a little exaggerated on their part given I purchased the exact same wine without the "QF" label on the bottle a few months ago :o

Isn't the exclusive about being served in QF lounges. Also the exclusive labelled wines were the ones that earned bonus points.

Purchased recently and opened on the weekend. Was an absolute cracker. Will probably buy again (am a sucker for a good Pinot...)

Should have bit the bullet and bought more on the 4,000 bonus points promo.

2007, its an absolute cracker at the price, not flabby at all :)

Is it still available? Thought they had different vineyards/labels/styles - need to pay more attention when I'm there (a couple of times a year)!

Was that part of the bonus points promo?
