Qantas Wine latest offering

Has anyone had any experience with Epiqure delivering the wrong wine?
Opened a package today to find out I have been sent a lesser variety.. rang just then and they are following it up with supervisors and whatnot.... sigh.

Quite a few of us had issues with the Festive dozen where there was a sub on one of the bottles in 2012, it was sorted quickly and very much in our favour.

The two bottles of st Henri I got are cork enclosures. Hope it lasts! But I think they will be drunk within 12 months

What, you didn't take the whole box? :o

Looks like the Dan's RRP for the St Henri 2010 is back to $85 single bottle.

I don't have that kind of cash just lying around, otherwise I would have. Dan's have put the price up, but none of the stores near me seem to have any in stock....

I had them deliver my initial gift for joining (Champagne) to an unrelated address in Sydney - which was corrected by sending me another one. Don't know if they ever got the wine back from the other member - but I told them "good luck trying"...*hic* what bottle??

Latest delivery - spot the difference in marketing and brand:

The almost unnamed carton is the Peter Lehmann's wine - again poor.

Superb effort all round by Grant Burge. Branding and having them lie-flat instead of the normal upright.

Very poor, especially when coming from Peter Lehman. Last time I ordered their wine I got it in a nice wooden box with their logo printed on it.

For those wondering about the mystery champagne box, I received Moët, Taittinger and Billecart-Salmon

I bet you paid more for that beautiful package though!
Nope, it was a good deal :)
I ordered the wines based on the price (similar to DM) and bonus points. Had no idea they will arrive in a fancy wooden box, it was a nice surprise.

I assume boomy ordered the Peter Lehmann Stonewell? If yes, well that implies you paid more than what QF WP paid. Surely they didn't send QF WP a dozen of Stonewells in a plain carton box. Speaking of which the 2010 Stonewell is out. Anyone ordered and tried some yet?

Not tried it, but will be keen to. Where is it actually available? Not even the Peter Lehmann website has it yet.

Not bad value at ~$260(?)
Give the Moet and Tat a value of $40 at least so you're at $160. Leaves $100 for 2x Billecart. Add in the points and possible use of a voucher and it's a good deal if you like those drops.

Based on Dan's pricing it would cost you a bit over $300 to buy.

As I had advised here previously, I had registered for the Penfolds bi-annual Re-corking Clinic. The email has arrived and rather than start a new thread just for this (hard via the App), thought I'd post here and in the "Nice Wines I have drunk recently", to ensure that those that want to attend, can do so:

Just placed an order...

Subtotal $267.00
Savings $26.70
Delivery Free
Grand total $240.30

Seems a good deal if the mix is the same as bismarck

At around ~$40 per bottle delivered free and 721 QFF points, this is a hard offer to turn down

I received the 2008 Stonewell in a wooden box. I have tried 1 bottle and whilst it was really good drop it needs a bit more in the cellar.

I would also be interested in comments for the 2010
