Qatar Airways Delays/Cancellations

QR905, the Monday 3 July 2135 hours mid evening MEL - DOH is expected to depart at 2350. This is because QR904, the scheduled 1750 hours arrival in MEL is coming to its allocated gate at 2223 hours tonight, 273 minutes late as its scheduled 2055 hours DOH departure on Tuesday 2 became takeoff at 0155 today. Aircraft is A380 A7-APC.

It must be substituting for a failed aircraft as APC arrived in DOH yesterday on QR40 ex CDG at 2327, three minute early and was immediately prepared to operate the Melbourne-bound delayed departure.

Saturday 20th of June sees QR904 DOH-MEL (A388 A7-APA) badly delayed. Arrival is now revised to 00 49, 419 min tardy.

The return leg as QR905 has an expected departure at 02 30 hours. It’s not going to be a fun wait for passengers.

Wednesday 24th of July sees once again QR904 DOH-MEL with a late arrival at 19 13, 83 min behind schedule. This should hopefully not affect the return leg to the Middle East.

Just got a text from work saying QR900 DOH-PER has been diverted to ADL and will arrive in about 15 minutes. Quite a sight to see an A380 at ADL

QR906, the 0740 hours "to make it legal" short hop from SYD to CBR on Monday 2 September was in the sky at 0833 with B773ER A7-BEL. Arrival should be at 0914 hours, 34 late.

On Saturday 7 September 2019, with SYD having suffered from high westerlies for much of the day and been on single runway ops., QR907, the mid afternoon 1545 hours to DOH took off at 1855. B773ER A7-BEM should arrive on Sunday 8 at the not overly attractive hour of 0218, 143 minutes behind schedule.
