That's disappointing significance! I take it you didn't receive an email from QF? (my first two arrived April 28, with a reminder on May 3).
That is disappointing. How close are you going to get? If you are very close it could be worth doing a status run to make up the difference.
I can't remember last time I've been asked to show my card; your boarding pass will usually say FF GOLD SAPPHIRE 55512345.
Having been through about a dozen AA lounges in usa last month... none asked for a card. Status on bp was enough.AA lounges in the US normally want to sight a physical card, boarding pass was not enough, most of the time, last time I visited LOTFAP.
Also, Finnair AY lounge in HEL demanded the card to let me in to the 'premium' section.

I concur. I forgot to put my QP card back in an easily accessible placr on a return leg lat year. AA lounge in SFO just scanned my BP and confirmed i had access.
Interesting. My experience is exact opposite.AA lounges in the US normally want to sight a physical card, boarding pass was not enough, most of the time, last time I visited LOTFAP.

Going to go out on a limb and suggest they just ran a sweep. Maybe the next one will be in 2 weeks, or 4 or... who knows.
anyway good to see them starting to show up for folks
I thought it was a "free for all" and on their website ?
Free? With Qantas?
Perhaps with no additional cost when you booked the slightly more expensive flights with a departure location in Australia?
And yes the sign up incurred only a debt of only your time. And while some may have found it on the web site, I used the email note and link. Though I don't recall seeing an obvious note on the home page...
[/ cynical mood]
And back to happy wandering

Departure location in Australia? Don't remember seeing that in the Ts and Cs.
wait there's a "Premium" section?! lol That the part with the Sauna? that's in the intra-EU part right?
I was passing through JFK-HEL-LHR, so not sure, I don't quite get the "schengen" thing.
This was the sign at the desk. Right for business, left for elites. Left was nicer (i only realised just prior to leaving to board, unfortunately). I didn't see a sauna, but showers were accessible to both and were quite nice suites. Very new looking.

There was no restriction other than QF metal(and selected AA codeshares) for qualifying flights.
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
Apologies - restriction is on the use of gift cards. Which was my only interest with relation to the "offer"
QANTAS vouchers are "Redeemable for one-way or return Qantas domestic or international flights departing Australia only." See Qantas Vouchers|Terms and ConditionsAnd there was zero restriction there. I am not sure why you thought that?
I have received DSC for gift voucher booked flights.
