The roped off area was only for P1 and CLs?
Or was it for F plus the others ?
Thanks
The area I was taken to had no rope, just ‘Reserved’ signs on the tables. In a lighter area near the windows. Seemed to only be for F pax with P1 or CL status.

Faith, one of the other lovely ladies, was telling me the Lounge's capacity is 494 pax, however on the night AJ was in flying back from LHR, they had 747 pax come through the doors. One night they had up to 900 pax. The SATS Lounge around the corner is taking overflow of QC and Voucher pax, up to 100 per night.
Apparently QF have come across some unused space around the corner from the BA Lounge.
Agree, one needs some coin. So if one can afford to pay for leisure flight in Y to Europe or USA they will most like have the means to add few hundreds to significantly upgrade their travel experience. What prevents most people from making it happen is not the lack of coin but lack of knowledge that flying J or F should not necessarily cost thousands more out of pocket.
I go back to something I posted on here a long time ago - you don't *have* to use a lounge..
I'll be doing this leg next week and given its a short transit, and I'm not interested in showers and given it'll be close to midnight Sydney Time, probably wont want food/drinks, will probably just wander around the terminal keeping awake, and by the time you have to return to gate/security etc, there isn't much time at all.
Sorry to hear that. Very short-sighted IMO for QF as lack of attention for F pax regardless of FF status will mean that they will choose elsewhere next time. I certainly would.Currently writing this from the SIN lounge as a WP F passenger and I'm very disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) and the lounge itself.
It seems none of the treatment that others have expressed and raved about is extended to F passengers or even WP passengers travelling in F - I was told by one of the hosts that the extra service is only for P1 and CL members travelling in F and I'm pretty much SOL.
The staff were inattentive and seemed to lack any of the warmth and helpfulness of those in Australia. No recognition of status or even a greeting, no champagne (not even a glass). A far cry from the First experiences extended to all First customers in Australia - regardless of status. I may as well have been holding a QP membership and travelling in discount Y - there was no difference.
The lounge is massive, with chairs pushed so close together you can see they're expecting it to be packed. The food offering is good and plentiful though, but quite standard Qantas fare with some local influences. It wouldn't be out of place in an Australian J lounge, but definitely doesn't hold a candle to any of the F lounges.
I would have thought customers who have WP status, let alone are also travelling in F, would be given the same service as they would get elsewhere with Qantas. This is a far cry from the Dubai Emirates F lounge. I doubt there'd be many non P1's flying F that'd be happy with the changes. Very disappointed.
I'll be very glad to board the plane and be treated properly.

I too am in the SIN lounge, I am a P1 traveling in First and I've received no special treatment at all, I'm sitting with the plebs...no First Host treatment offered, and I wondered about the seats with the Reserved signs so now I know.
Well, I'm not sure if someone from QF is reading or what but it seems to have been a screw-up. I have now had 3 hosts come up and apologise for the treatment, I was escorted to the reserved area and provided champagne.
One of the hosts said that lack of staff training was to blame, no more detail was offered though.
I'd go and find the people in the white jackets and ask - based on my conversation, you should definitely also be extended the same service (it's for F customers, regardless of status, as it should be).
these are the sort of stuff ups which mean I now fly F with EK and SQ glad there was some service recovery for you. I had amazing service in the TPR in Singapore and I have zero status with SQ - Qantas really needs to lift its game, but does it care enough? Only if you feel that premium travel is that important that you need to do that research in the first place?Agree with this.
I tell people who ask that if you can afford to fly somewhere then you can afford to fly there in J or F if you’re willing to put in the effort of learning about the points game.

What was the final outcome re your seat? I had issues twice late last year with 1A, and was relocated to 3A, 5A, and J (!) on various legs. The A/C vent was broken. I'm back there again next week and am a little nervous after my excursion in J!And for good measure, when I checked in for this flight, I was told my seat had a problem and they were moving me to 5* but if they fix the seat they'll move me back to the seat I selected 6 months ago. I do wonder if the seat really is broken or if I'll find it occupied by someone else.
Of course I'd complain flying QFA economy. So many ppl complan to me about flying Y, especially long haul
