QFF Bonus Status Credits/Points gift on back of Aug 2023 profit

My points landed. The effective date is today (I selected yesterday), so possibly some hope for those trying to drag into September. The activity date was the day of selection.

They have also counted as non-flying PC. 🥳

Might be beyond most so take my word for it, the date is not the date it posts.
Hmm yes we should take your word for it as it's beyond most of us, was it beyond yourself earlier.

Take my word for it.... Yet you were incorrect just hours earlier. C'mon.

I meant looking into the developer tab and checking the API response - which I didn’t do on the first attempt. I doubt most people here would know how to do that.

I don't see what's difficult with this:

Yep I worked that out the hard way.

It doesn’t show on the iOS app, and as for PC mine defaults to group by category and it doesn’t show the activity date on that view.

Either way we’ve established the truth, take the advice in the spirit it was offered and don’t persecute people for making a mistake they self corrected. (That’s not necessarily directed at you specifically)

Got my 1000 points in my account. Pretty sure I didn't actually qualify per the T&C but was still offered in the app. One last present from the free status match from VA WP during covid I guess.

Great decision. But I am handcuffed to Qantas as its the only way I can get access to lounges and some other perks.
For my non Qantas/One World flights, I use priority pass for lounge access. Example, Jetstar at Sydney Domestic has no lounge. Priority Pass gives me access to Rex which is nearby the Jetstar gates.

Frustrated with timing of offer. I need 5 SC to retain gold by Sep, just booked Red e-deal flight (non refundable and $99 change fee) and now offered 75 SC. Guess 5K points better than nothing.

Mine haven't arrived despite qualifying, so I rang the so called frequent flyer help desk, was told that I will get an e-mail, said yes i should have but haven't, agent said let me check, put me on hold and after waiting 22mins then she hung up...... Instead of loyalty bonusses fix your terrible customer service Mr Joyce

Has anyone taken up this offer yet? How long did it take for the SC to arrive? I notice QF say it's 'up to 4 days'.
My anniversary is 31 August, and I don't need the SC in this current year.
So wondering, if I accept the request on 30 August, what's the chance they won't hit until September?

Mine posted the next day, but the transaction was dated as at when I accepted it

It’s next day.
The cynic in me thinks they have chosen August 30th as the cut off date to prevent them counting towards requalification for anyone starting again on 1st Sep.

Prevent any last minute cancellations etc

For me, and choosing the FF points rather than SCs (don't need them with LTG status), means I wanted them added in August or September to help ensure I re-qualify for PC+ before end of my membership year. Now about 6.5K required in September before October new year. Should make that easily with combination of home loan, credit card and EDR points in September. I think I have timed it perfectly (for a change). Thanks QF - for once it has worked out for me.
