Friday 8 January 2019 sees ZL3151, the morning flight at 0655 hours from ABX to MEL not taking off until 0746 hours. VH-ZLF should arrive at 0841 hours, 46 late.

ZL3554 from BWT to MEL is arriving 37 late at 0822 with VH-ZXK.

This looks very much like ATC imposing 'controlled departures' on these Regional Express peak period flights.

Many flights have and are being significantly delayed due to the late afternoon and evening storms adversely affecting Sydney on Friday 8 February 2019.

ZL7832 (VH-ZLX), the 1830 hours ABX - SYD took off at 2009 and arrived at 2128, 98 late.

Wednesday 6 March's ZL316 (0700 hours early morning from SYD up to GFN) was in the sky at 0757 so will be at least 35 late arriving. VH-ZLK is the SAAB340B.

Later on 6 March 2019, ZL464 from NRA to SYD, the 1105 hours, did not become airborne until 1303 so arrival for VH-ZLF has become 1404 instead of 1225, so 99 minutes behind schedule.

On Saturday 9 March 2019, ZL823 from DBO across to SYD, the 0710 hours airborne at 0738 with VH-ORX should arrive 31 minutes late at 0851 hours.

ZL872 (Sunday 10 March 2019, the scheduled 1800 hours SYD - BHQ) was still waiting for takeoff as at 1931 hours, so it will be at least 75 minutes late. The SAAB340B is VH-SBA.

The 1840 hours SYD - MYA,, ZL139 is just behind in teh queue so it's at least half an hour behind schedule.

ZL662 (Monday 11 March, the 0815 hours WGA - SYD) did not take off until 0948, so arrival is expected at 1054, 99 late for VH-EKH.

Tuesday 12 March 2019 sees ZL869, the 1830 hours DBO across to SYD with SAAB340B VH-ZRH.

It was extremely late in taking off - at 2213 hours - but at about 2305 it tracked after diverging from the standard 16R arrival track at about Leichardt it flew south above Marrickville and Brighton-le-sands - a little to the west of SYD - and as at 2310 hours looked as if it may be heading for XRH (Richmond NSW RAAF base/airfield).

However it then made a right turn from about Beecroft and tracked south. It landed in SYD on runway 16R at 2318 hours, so arrival will be 2323 hours.

Earlier, this aircraft had flown as ZL4892 from ADL to MQL and on to BHQ where it arrived 19 early at 1821 hours, but another SAAB340B must have failed as it looks to have been requisitioned to operate ZL869 BHQ (the 1605 hours airborne at 1922) - DBO - SYD, albeit the latter two sectors hours late.

The heavy storm in Sydney on Thursday 14 March 2019 is resulting in extensive delays and cancellations for all major airlines.

ZL333, the 1650 hours GFN down to SYD was in the sky at 1916. With VH-OLM, it initially briefly held a little to the southwest of Cessnock but as at 2100 appeared to still be holding, but this time south of Mangrove Mountain (NSW Central Coast) and for a far longer period, so its suggested arrival at 2116 looks to be fictional. It may end up having to divert (NTL?)
