Roomba, Dysons, Thermomix and other household appliances

I have the Aldi Steamer and Air Fryer.

What I love about the steamer is doing a bowl of vegetables and having them as a small meal.
I can also poach eggs with these silicon egg cookers.

I also use it for cooking chicken as mentioned above.
Best cooking device I've ever purchased.

Do you still have to dry, salt and oil the skin?
Yes. Dry, salt, fridge for 24 hrs, warm to RT, bit more salt, olive oil , rub in, insert MEATER. Open and consume wine.

Cook in AF for 200C for 20 mins, then 160 until MEATER gets excited, take out, rest.

Minor issue is that rolled pork loin expands when cooking so one has to ensue roast is not too big for AF basket or can have fat touching the element. Peaks are opening the drawer to rearrange the roast for expansion.

Oho. I'm about to get a new kitchen and will be sans cooking facilities for 3-4 weeks. I thought I could get by with a bbq & microwave but just spotted these comments. Do you reckon it'd be worth buying one to fill the gap? I can't say I'm thrilled at the thought of a heap of microwaved meals
Yes for sure. Even a cheap one will be better than a microwave

I'd say so. They're a great mini oven. Can't speak for any other model, but the Instant pot is pretty flexible in what it can manage. And it's amazing at reheating food.

We call our Robovac FRED, and have conversations about what FRED is doing. We haven't got to sharing photos or videos though, that's a bit creepy.

Reminds me of this, 🤣
