Yeah right, I am a user of this service so I hope no one falls for it!

It was sent from a US based email account and the reply option is a site in Italy.

My elderly mother nearly fell for the "mum" version of this. Not thinking clearly, she asked 'is that you "name of my brother"'. that was a great opening to the scammer to lead her down a rabbit hole. Fortunately, just before she transferred the requested money, her suspicions were aroused and didn't proceed.
