14 Sep Singapore (Air NZ) Lounge in Sydney from about 9:15am
14 Sep Singapore Lounge in Singapore from about 5:50pm

Travelling business for the first time on SQ so unsure of entry rules...

There was last time I was there. You need to let the check-in staff know and they give you a PIN to unlock the door at the entrance. It's a discreet door to the left of the check-in area. The lounge is nothing special it's a bit quieter than the rest of the terminal and there are free nibbles.

Ah OK like the Launceston one. It must not be signed. I was waiting there for a while for the check-in agents to arrive and didn't notice anything. Certainly had a good look airside - nothing there.

Yeah was a fun chat. Your flight came up closed as you were walking out so I thought you could be in trouble.
I was fine. Boarded and waited ~5-10 minutes as they were still loading cargo. If I am running a little late Qantas will call my mobile to find out where I am. That is great customer service.

JQ3 cancelled today! Same as last week. Not sure if it is bad luck or the norm for this flight.
That is not good at all. I hope the rest of your runs are not jeopardised. Have you checked Flightstats for the history of this flight?

In the Qantas lounge in Singapore now. Not sure if it's the same one voyages so kindly offered to guest me into. I think the ladies at the counter may have been distracted by the search for my coat, which I cunningly (OK, stupidly) left on the plane.
