I should be at the QP around the same time using a free lounge pass (thanks hummel!) which I'm expecting in the mail today. Otherwise, I may need to be guested...

See you tomorrow in the lounge :)

Isn't using a lounge pass for a morning visit to a domestic lounge a waste?

Not when I'm an early bird!

PS - It has just been announced that my flight is delayed...

Only if your primary intention for visiting a lounge is to drink alcohol.

For me, a morning visit to a domestic lounge is worth it as it allows you to get up / leave home a little later and eat once you arrive rather than rushing before you leave home.

Alcohol aside. Everyone has their reasons for visiting lounges.

In my opinion mornings in domestic lounges is a waste of a lounge pass. Muesli, yoghurt etc is not that exciting.

I don't find anything exciting about domestic lounges, no matter what time of the day you visit them.

25 Sep 18:35 SYD QP - Can Guest 1

Hi davem, I too am hoping for a kind person on QF 21 on 25 Sept, and going into Flounge around 1800 on 25th.

If neither of us get lucky, perhaps I could take up that offer to the J int lounge please? Don't worry if at the last minute you get a better offer!

23 Sep, 6:00-6:30, SYD, VA dom, can guest 1
26 Sep, probably around 3.00 - 4.00pm, MEL, VA dom, can guest 1 (will use fly ahead, if interested in being guested in the afternoon, PM me but my time in the lounge will depend on when I arrive at the airport)

Hi

28 Sept - QF 560, Cbr-Syd, 06:45. My wife and can guest 2 people each into the J lounge (noting that we won't be looking to get there too early).

then:

28 Sept - QF 127, Syd-Hkg, 09:50. We can guest one person each into the First lounge, subject to the same flight rules.

30 Sept - MH 73, Hkg-Kul, 14:45. Again, we can guest one person each and will look to go into the Wing First Class Lounge at HKG, expecting to get to there by about midday.

Please PM me if you are interested in taking up this offer.

Regards, Horatio

Might be hard. I'm off on a JQ flight. So looks like I'll be slumming it in the QP.

Cheers anyway.
