Shop small to return in November

No credit, here, for purchase on Sunday. However, my attempt to re-register resulted in " ...... Oops, our records show that you've already enrolled in this offer .............. ". Another screenshot taken.

From the last promo, I had some that took over a week to show up. Actually I had one that never showed up. Even if the terms said up to 8 weeks, I only waited a couple of weeks and sent online enquiry. It showed up almost month later and I totally forgot about it lol

Need to keep track on this promo as I have 3 cards to use and will maximize the promo.

Well, I just received a (very quick) response from AMEX. Received within two hours:

Yes, I do see that your Card is duly enrolled in the Shop Small Promotion, effective 01/11/14. According to the recent offer campaign, email notifications are not being sent for the transactions made at Shop Small; however I assure you that your eligible transactions are being automatically captured by the system for the processing of the credit.

I see that your charge from (deleted) has been duly captured and once the other charge made at (deleted) gets posted to your account, it will also get registered. Please allow 5 business days for the credits to appear on your account for the relevant charges ..... ".

Not quite how it's been working for some, here, but at least I now have some confidence that I will receive the credits.

Well I just dropped a significant amount for dinner at Marque for SWMBO's birthday, before jumping in a cab to note Amex felt the need to chip in $10.

Is everyone receiving (email?) notifications from AMEX (as with the previous promotion) once they have paid the merchant?

Received emails almost immediately for 3 purchases in a couple of hours.

No email notifications at all for me, unlike the promotion last year.

My transaction on 2nd has posted with the $10 credit. However, those on 5th, 6th and 7th have not as yet. The first took 3 days to post, so maybe that will be the case for the rest.

Exact same thing happened to me at a local asian grocer.

I hopped at a grocery store listed in the ShopSmall map. Merchant wouldn't take AMEX. I paid with my Master Card.

I emailed AMEX to explain the whole thing in detail. They gave me the statement credit without hassle.

Kudos to AMEX. They are really trying hard to keep their shopsmall promises.

I hopped at a grocery store listed in the ShopSmall map. Merchant wouldn't take AMEX. I paid with my Master Card.

I emailed AMEX to explain the whole thing in detail. They gave me the statement credit without hassle.

Oh yeah baby. Back in business. $10 credit this time is a 50% discount if you can arrange your spend in lots of $20! Registered 3 cards so just need to remember to swap cards when I have reached my limit on each in turn.

Who's the Chinese grocer that accept Amex? I've never seen one other than Thai Kee in the city (if you call that a Chinese grocer..that's a full fledge IGA shop)

Not exactly local, had to go a fair way out of my way (although was going that way on an errand anyway so not so bad). There are 6 Gull servos in WA which are on the ShopSmall map, 3 of which are on the fringes of the Perth metro area (3 Country, planning to run this trick again this weekend when I go down south).
