Shop small to return in November

Any suggestions for places to use it at within melbourne? preferably groceries/staple goods.

Station Street IGA Fairfield is on the map as is Food Works Elizabeth St in the CBD.

Again the map lookup system is totally hopeless. Searches in any category near Adelaide show no results except for services, which gives some dentists/GPs. Searching random words gives a few places, but I'd like to be able to look at all the local participants - any clues on how to get it to work?

You kinda need to know what you're looking for specifically and set your location correctly as well.

If I'm say looking for a butcher, I'd look for meat/butcher and see if anything turns up.

Who's the Chinese grocer that accept Amex? I've never seen one other than Thai Kee in the city (if you call that a Chinese grocer..that's a full fledge IGA shop)

Just purchased from Evatt pharmac_, got the thank-you email from AMEX straight away.
The pharmac_ has no surcharge for AMEX card. sweet!

Thank you for the heads up about those stores at Belconnen Market. Girfriend and I went there the other day, spend about $100 and got $40 worth of credits.

My understanding is that it is per card.

Definitely per card - in fact one of my cards expire this month while it is still working, charges being put through on that one is also getting me the $10 credit along with the replacement

It looks to be broken at the moment. I plugged in a few businesses which were listed the last time that I looked, and the category symbols have since fallen off. As such, a category search no longer finds them.

I reckon it's to do with them updating the map to delete those shops not honouring the shopsmall deal or not accepting AMEX. Just speculating.

Speaking of updating/deleting, I've been e-mailing them about merchants not accepting Amex. At first they were quite forthcoming with providing the $10 credits, now they're like hmmm ok let us talk to the merchants first then think about the credits.

yeah we went to dinner at Ainslie FC and the Raiders Club in Gungahlin. One advantage of those places is you pay when you order so no problem each paying separate and claiming a credit.

Too early to tell. I'll give them a week and see what happens.

Last year they've provided a bit more credit than they should by mistake and claw it back without saying a word, that was a bit rude.
