The squalls when they come through are quite terrifying. We have been lucky to only have rain and storms on Sunday evening and Tuesday morning and Monday was very overcast although still warm. Apart from that the weather has been fine. The trade off in being at this time of year is the resort has low occupancy which we like.

Our picnic at seven wells waterfalls. Three people to accompany us. One to drive, one to carry towels in case we wanted to swim and one to carry the picnic basket....

One very bad tempered monkey along the path up - he was sitting on the rail and one of our people tried to chase him away - he did not like that

yes I moved to the other side of the path - he was not at all happy about being moved on, but apparently they grab anything they can......

I did manage to slip at the bottom of the waterfall, but fortunately no damage except to my pride and a bit of a long scrape on my arm.

Rabies. A niece of mine from England was bitten by one in Bali and had to have so many injections. They are nasty, even chimps can be really nasty and rip each other to death.

already been through that because of a hungry cat in Istanbul :(

For LtL. - the dress. Just managed to still squeeze into it after all the eating - will need to be really good when I get back home - :). The alterations were done at no extra cost and the seamstress was a total genius. She didn't measure anything - just looked at me in it when I bought it last week and when I tried it on today it was perfect.

Thank you mother of the bride for the photo. The dress is gorgeous and the colour is fabulous. Now just make sure you stay the same size until the wedding :)

(As an aside I was a bridesmaid for a friend when I was about 20 and when I tried the dress on again the night before the wedding it was far too big. Apparently the dressmaker thought that she had made an error in the measurements as she didn't think I could be that thin so she allowed an inch or so! A hurried resewing effort ensured)

Once I get back home - I will be fine :). Just all this gorgeous food here that is the disaster. The dress was from Satine and they have a fantastic selection of evening wear. We bought Miss FM's year 10 dress formal dress from them in 2007.

The night before! That must have been panic stations. And wouldn't you love to be your 20 yr old weight again.

Miss FM has 3 fittings for her wedding dress and they leave the last one as late as possible, just in case there are weight changes!
