I did see a mention of fillet steak somewhere? TonyHancock perhaps? I'm there, as unlike the air, they seem to be able to serve medium-rare on the ground without issue!

I will be coming back on QF10 on the 31st March so hope it is open by then and will report back, as will have a number of hours lounging may even do a lounge comparison of other OW lounges

She thought it was April but realy wasnt sure so god only knows at this stage as it appears Mary doesnt LOL

A possible further change to the change that was very slow to be announced? Another change? Surely not.

I was coming home from holidays, so the fact I booked the very last A380 departure for QF ex SIN was a lucky coincidence, then news of the new lounge opening the same night was a bonus, if it does to happen its no big deal.

March 31 is the magic day where QF tries out the 'middle east experiment', so it makes sense that all other 'enhancements' start on this day also.

I shall pine for the days before we only had 4 days a week of real F into Asia, as I fly one of the last SYD-SIN-LHR in F on the 27th, and return on CX via my preferred part of the world.

I enjoyed meeting you at our coughtail function on Wednesday evening.
I mentioned to you that I would confirm with you the actual opening date of the new lounge in Singapore.
I am told that 31 March is still the target date for opening, so you were absolutely correct (not that I doubted you at all).
It seems as though there is still quite a lot of work to complete, but they are hopeful that they can have it all ready for 31 March.
I hope you enjoy our new lounge environment.
