For some reason (as someone who loves 80’s music) I have found myself singing along repeatedly to Bryan Adams ‘Run to You’ - something nice triggered. I even looked up if he is touring in Australia and somewhere I will be in Europe this year.

There is a big gap in the schedule for July 2024.

Could he be playing the montreux music festival?? Will I see him there???

I have to wait another 30 sleeps until they announce the line-up

I recently had my NAD 7150 refurbished and invested in some new Van Den Hull speaker cable. An excellent investment.
Tonight +1 and I have decided to get wasted on red wine and play disco records from the mid 70's such as Silver Convention. At the time we were just 18/19. The sound from the stereo is brilliant.

Good quality inner sleeves cost about 30c each so I'm replacing them as I play the records.

I passed on Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Paloma Faith and leave before Duran Duran and Soft Cell (although I would have loved to go)!

I guess I have led a sheltered life, but on our recent cruise there was a small restaurant with tapas style food and
a pianist and singer with a nightclubby jazz/ blues program.
The pianist was easily the most adept pianist I have ever heard , making it all up on the fly and the singer had a nice throaty blues voice.
I was in heaven , drifting away with the food , the wine, and the sound...
My point.. oh yes .... nothing like live to create atmosphere...
