Hard to tolerate aren't they? I had to suffer through Suite flt SIN-PEK last Wed - in fact I was in 2 totally different Suites on 2 totally different 380s on same flt - first one had busted propeller or sumpin and we had to change.

Now I gotta suffer through another Suites run tomorrow PEK-SIN - don't know how I am going to cope!

very helpful cruiser. We utilised this with a J onward redemption to BKK but presumed we got in cos of paying F price redemption whole way.
So I was laying in bed wide awake at 6am this morn in PEK when I thought of this post - YES dd you could / would be eligible for F Lounge / TPR entry under either of these scenarios - if mixed class booking paid at F rates then are definitely eligible for entry even though you actually holding J BP - access on arrival scenario explained earlier

How do you know when you are addicted to AFF? Read above - So I was laying in bed wide awake at 6am this morn in PEK when I thought of this post

I got up same time and watched Waratahs reply from last night in South Africa
The Tahs won

CE I was addicted to caffeine and your addiction to AFF is healthier than that.
How is the air quality today?

Here is my cart to deliver me from escalator at bottom of entrance to SKL to gate B7 post the aircraft sub last week:

Have my first SQ Y in a while (last 5 have been J) MEL-SIN-SGN on Friday, couldn't say no to $620 one way...

Further to this, completely chockers out of MEL and 80% full out of SIN.

Probably my worst SQ Y flight, old IFE, full to the brim and service a bit ordinary.

It confirmed my suspicions that there is a big difference between Y and J/F :)

I would be too scared to do that hummel now that you have posted this.
$620 buys a lot of frequent flyer points if you put your mind to it.

Got plenty of miles just couldn't make the dates work with 2 days notice!

The way I see it, I'm fortunate enough to be flying J for work as it is, so the occasional Y trip keeps me grounded!

However will be looking for J going home whenever that may be...

Think I felt like a 5 year old on Christmas eve last night.

Had some very tasty duck pan cakes and a small bowl of the fluffiest rice with some beef redang that went very well with a henshke red.

The severity of the Sydney first lounge is so nice.

Not long till my glass of Champaign on board.

Go for it Jeffrey.
My order goes Krug, icy Vodka and then the French red to get ready for sleep.
It is your call on Dom or Krug and sometimes they can have an excellent Aussie red.

But possibly not as big a difference if flying a Y VA codeshare on SQ. I flew PER SIN HAN return Y a couple of months ago on SQ. On the way back, flying Silk Air HAN-SIN it was like loading cattle. All I could think of was self loading freight (although even the term self-loading was a stretch). And managed to snap up/have allocated row 62 SIN-PER. That was a first - have never sat in the back seat of a plane before. Apart from that the food was frankly disgusting - that's as politely as I can put it - service ordinary and fitout looked tired. The experience has put me off SQ totally. Maybe J is another story, given the chorus of praise it receives here, but after that experience I don't know that I want to risk it.

J on SQ is always good, particularly if you get the 1-2-1 config.

I didn't bother with the food on the Y leg, I pre-packed some protein bars for the flights and just sipped on water. Felt all the better for it, nothing worse than having a stomach full of rice/carbs and being confined to a little seat at the back of the bus!

What is the etiquette to tell a couple of Aussie riff raff that multiple on speaker calls in TPR is not particularly the way to do things

The family with the baby is being less disruptive.

Such bad form. Move next to the caller and play a video from AFF of a plane taking off/ landing on your IPad at good volume to see if he gets the hint.
