From VA Gold's website, it does appear that Priority Check-in is a benefit with SQ. Were they adamant you had to line up back in the Y queue? What about lounge access? Could you at least access the SKL?Hi everyone,
First time flying SQ as a VA Gold. Flying in Y. Was told at MEL that I could only use the Y check in — is this true as I thought VA gold had priority check in as a benefit with SQ?

No problems with lounge access. The person at check in just mentioned that I should’ve gone to economy but that she would be nice and check me in anywayFrom VA Gold's website, it does appear that Priority Check-in is a benefit with SQ. The narrower seats in economy with the aircraft change may be a topic of discussion down the line. The ADL-SIN-ADL flights SQ278 and SQ279 changes from regional A350 to 787-10 next year. From what I understand the seats are identical to the A350 regional. I assume the bulkhead seats remain the best seats to aim for on the 787-10?
Only 0.5cm isn’t it?The narrower seats in economy with the aircraft change may be a topic of discussion down the line.
Similar thinking we’ve chosen 12A and 15A on the 787 ex ADLOnly 0.5cm isn’t it?
In J though the 787 seats are 2cm wider though
Interestingly I try to chose 16A and 17A on the A350 ex ADL and have done this time too and the seats have stuck over to the 787 where 16A has no window so best b selecting new seats
in inches.Only 0.5cm isn’t it?

Somewhat worrying book Lufthansa First class award via KrisFlyer a few days before departure. E ticket says F class but Sia website now says economy O class. Lufthansa website shows First class still. Anyone experienced anything similar?
I have an Aeroplan award booked… using manage booking on various star partners to choose seats some of the flights show as ‘economy’. It’s just the booking codes and how different sites read them. The manage booking function on the operating airline is what counts. As Mr H says, O is the F class award bucket for star. 2ish is fine. We did that last monthHow strict are they with the 3 hour checkin at SYD? I’m on the late flight (18:05) and will be there at about 2. Would rather wait in the lounge than outside
I've no experience but I would think so. All tickets are seperate bookings for three seperate nominees. If someone wants to book a holiday for me and my wife and child (3 seats) does the person require three redemption nominee slots to be filled? Or is it one slot for the booking?
