St George Amplify card - $139 for 90k points (discounted fee via specific link)

Signed up and approved for this card during the $139.00 annual fee promo. Good value for 90K points, and the card arrived promptly. Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but are the 2 x QP passes limited to me or can anyone use them? Miss Aus ATC and BF have a long transit in HKG in a couple of months time, and I'm hoping I can give them to her to use.

Paper based cards so you can do what you like with them.
 
Still waiting for my lounge invitations (but as I have lounge access anyway and am yet to reach the required spend I'm in no hurry).
 
how does the priority pass enrollment work? is it just clicking the enrol button here? St.George
I did this a few days ago but yet to see any entries in the account.
 
Mrscove’s Amplify card should almost be here. I am impatiently waiting to get her Kris Miles stash moving up.
 
I met the $5k spend in the 1st statement period. this is under the $139 annual fee offer but didnt get the 90k bonus with the regular spend points.

also noticed on the statement:

I met the $5000 spend in the first month. Just received my second statement, yet no dice. Will have to wait another month for the payload. If they're late, I've got a Dr Ralph special on the burner and ready go. A part of me can't wait to press send!
 
QANTAS is phasing out the paper invitations. I got mine recently.

I’ve done the required spend and am waiting to see how long it takes to get the sign-up bonus. Hoping it doesn’t take the full 12 weeks as I’d like to cancel this card well before then.
 
I exceeded the $5000 spend in the first month, but it doesn't look like the sign up bonus posted with the first statement. I do want the sign up bonus to post ASAP so that I can be ready to churn again in June or July at the latest.

Seems there's nothing standard about bonus point offerings this time around.

I'd say about 50% of the reports (including myself) have indicated that points posted by the first statement and the other 50% stated that they didn't get the points by the second statement. So if you didn't get the bonus yet, you might be waiting another month or so.

Are you having success with less than 12 month waiting period ?

Existing customers who currently hold an Amplify Platinum or Amplify Signature card, or who have held one in the last 12 months, are not eligible for this offer.
 
I have never had an Amplify card before. Regular points have posted but waiting for the sign-up bonus.
 
I meant churn away to a different card as in cancel this card and apply for something else, but I won't cancel this one till at least I've got the sign up bonus in my account. I also need to be in a position to make the sign-up bonus on a new card.
 
Both of us have met the 5K spending a month ago.... and are still awaiting the 90K pts to post

I really don't see why the other banks wouldn't do this also.

Maybe this is me thinking with my accounting side of the brain, but surely data would say that the longer a customer holds a card, the more likely they would be to spend on it....
 
Or, people may do the required spend and then throw the card in the drawer pending points hit then cancellation.

I am reminded of all those folks who churned their Westpac Amex Kris Flyer and Westpac closed all new admissions. I had almost a decade with that card that stopped on April 4th this year.
I view this St George card as my new work horse credit card for Kris Miles. World is it for Qantas. If Amex is taken I use those cards first.
