First thing to check is whether you got the points for the transaction.
why did i not think of this? Thank you, this small suggestion saved me a lot of trouble.
Bonus points were posted 30th of Jan. Yay! Eligible spend was hit by 12th Dec.

First statement is too early, read the terms and only worry until after the required spend is made and the maximum period for crediting has elapsed.I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with StG posting your QF signup bonus separate from the points of your first statement? My points for the first statement hit my QF account yesterday but the bonus is nowhere to be seen. Should I start worrying?
FWIW the spendings are to Immigration Department via paypal

Don't ever expect to get the bonus ahead of time. If it's early that's a plus and an unexpected privilege.
If someone else does, then they are lucky, does not mean you will.
Points posted 18/2.Applied 14/1.
Card received 24/1.
$2000 minimum spend reached today (no WISH cards purchased!).
Card in bottom draw waiting for the points.
Yes but you spend a lot of money which gives you the points. For everyday mum and dad expenses churning with bonuses means more points long term.Dr Ralph your circumstances must be so different to that of our family. For all of our tribe we are staying with the non Qantas points earner and it is a winner. If any of my group churned it I would be thinking that they might need some medical help......
This card is providing wholesale travel thru points redemptions and being a wholesaler this very much appeals to me.
This x 100!means more points long term.
So do many other cards and if they don't I can go the perfect gift card, VISA ONLY 1 or similar product route. This card gives you points on shire rates, water rates, car registrations and more that make this one valuable.
I cannot confirm for sure, but would suspect that it is $75K.Does anyone know what the income requirement for the Signature card is? Currently considering applying for the Sig for my wife (who is on sub $60k), so we can snag the larger bonus.
Even from a churn basis it all depends on where you can/intend to use these points.Follow up question...
What would you consider to be the better value here - 60k QFF or 70k Amplify (= 35k VFF or Kris)?
@cove I have seen you mention the x2 value of Krisflyer over QFF. Based on this, the Amplify Qantas promo appears to be basically the same as the Amplify Rewards variant in that the effective bonus points earn for the Qantas card of the is roughly double the earn of the Amplify Rewards card (60k QFF vs 35k Kris)
The only difference is that the Amplify card is only $49 for the 35k effective points, whereas the Qantas card is $99.
Seems to me that the better value in this scenario is bagging the 70k Amplify for $49.
I'm speaking from a churn and burn basis here.
Confirmed that this is $49 NOT $99. Use this link:
If it was me, I'd bank the cheap QFF points now and churn straight away.
