Thanks for the update Cruiser, however I must ask how do you keep it from the lady? I get too excited and I can't help but say something! I would love to take the lady in suites however when we flew TG F last year she preferred the 'old' F instead of the TG F Suites... something about being closer to each other. I think it's young love and sure that will change. :D

Don't tell her!

Strange breed of cattle aren't they? Cruiserette the same - she much prefer the old 'Space Bed' on SQ to the new wide seats on 380/77W - she also trots out that old 'lovey dovey togetherness' stuff.

They never change mate - they never change.

And I should have added to Suite Update the fact that Cruiserette will get 2 x visits to TPR further exacerbating the dilemna of ever getting her to accept J again in future.

Did the unthinkable yesterday and re-loaded Mrscove's Kris points account so we can be good for 12 nominees to go Suites.

Mrs Toff happy with the 777's as well.
My thought is if all you lot go by suite it will leave lots more room and seats in the "ordinary" (never let it be said !) F metal !

I am still doing the A345 and have never faulted it for their all J plane. It will be sad for me when that one ends this year.
LHR in Suites is excellent too.

Picked up a pair of Suites Savers to LHR so it is not good ....it is great!

AFF'ers

I am thinking of burning some points to go MEL-SIN-HKT in March. Suites for the main leg and business for the SIN-HKT.

Problem is there is no F/Suites between SIN-HKT so the site won't let me book online... only in business.

If I ring up will I still get the 15% discount? Also is my understanding correct in that I would not have access to TPR due to not departing in F? Even if booked as an F award?

Updated list for 2 Suite Savers on the same A380 flight-

So the list stands as-

- SYD-SIN
- SIN-MEL
- SIN-LHR
- LHR-SIN
- SIN-ZRH
- ZRH-SIN
- SIN-CDG
- CDG-SIN

Spizz you are a treasure!
I am quietly working on points for Suite Saver journeys.

Having a debate between myself and I all day today.

I've need to be in HKT March long weekend for a return flight back home. I was thinking of burning some miles to do MEL-SIN-HKG in suites but really don't know if I can justify it.

I think I'd prefer to share the experience with someone and am a little worried that I'll see the bar just a bit too high.

Other option is to fly to PER on Virgin then J PER-SIN-HKT... 50000 less miles and if I did suites I'd have to buy a ticket HKG-HKT.

This part of the list is bizarre - the other six routes are 3 x both directions between SIN and another city, whereas for SYD and MEL it's one way only. I'm sure there's some logic to it - but damned if I can figure out what it is!

Thanks for posting the list too, BTW.

Where are the points coming from? Points you already have with each airline? Citi? Amex?

Hummel I hear ya brotha - I feel your conflicting emotions / desires.

FWIW - I would not burn pts on Suites for night flt - I think you gotta take day flt to 'experience' whats Suites has to offer. YES SIN-HKG will give you 3.45 hrs of daytime Suites - is that enough?

Having said that - I am off to PEK on Sat morn - 01:05 out of MEL in Suite - then dep SIN 08:45 to PEK. Now if I had a choice - it would be F out of MEL cause i'll be kipping - then Suite out of SIN to enjoy the Suite 'experience' - but I have no choice here.

I hope I haven't muddied the waters any more here my friend.

Not muddied just push me in the other direction.. :D

That's the thing with the 01:05 denature which I have caught many times before (in Y!) as it's a great time for connection plus sleeping etc However in suites I want to maximise the effect!

I've put on a PER-SIN-HKT wait list in J for now, however don't know when/if it'll clear (March departure) The only flights I'm getting saver availability are the suites however!
