Due to your inquisitive palate.. Mr Penegal? Always obliging & refined service offerings, always with a sweet smile.. without doubt.. :D

LOL, it is partly a mood thing and partly a palate thing.

Sometimes the more 'savoury' taste of the Dom goes down easier than the Krug, but I still love Krug.

Congrats infinity!

Good to hear that the released another F suite that was waitlisted. Do you have any status with SQ ?

I have no SG status so maybe the tooth fairy was on my side. I did have other SG suite bookings for the other SG A380 tat do so we could both get to SIN with confidence. Travelling together will be much more fun!

Was that trip booked before SQ allowed 2 Suite Savers on the SYD-SIN run? Could explain the Waitlist being cleared. Unless it is the 3rd F Saver fare for that same flight?

Has anyone ever had a MEL-SIN waitlist on the A380 flight clear for a 2nd F Saver on that same flight?

It was booked right at the start of the release of suites, when only 1 was granted

Is now confirmed that you can book to suites SYD/SIN?

They are. Especially when they're half-the-R-cabin-to-yourself-Suites-Savers :-)

Out of interest: I've seen you mention Crystal before - I assume she must be a particularly good agent? How are you getting to consistently speak to the same person - do you have a direct line to her? Or just ask for her by name when you call?

Well done :-) Let us know what you think - I'd be interested to hear your opinion of SQ R vs the other F products you've flown.

My list now goes (in descending order of quality / enjoyment): SQ R, QF A380 F, TG 77W F Suites (the leased Jet Airways planes), CX 77W F, TG 747 F Seats (the "newer" seats). I've also got TG A380 F and OZ 747 F (and more SQ R) coming up later this year - looking forward to both of those.

Sounds like we'll have many things to compare as suites go.

maybe you should push some points to Velocity with their 15% uplift before 30/4/13 and try EK suites on 777. Very impressive! on SYD/AUH

Put me down for the Krug, but hey it wont take much arm twisting to pour Dom down my ever thirsty pallet LOL

The rest of my international flights for the year are already booked - a USDM redemption involving the aforementioned TG and OZ F, and SQ R/J trip. I do plan to try either (or maybe both?) EK F (via QF points) or EY F (via VA points) sometime next year though :-)

Reagarding waitlists, IME they do tend to clear, especially as the flight draws closer.

Naturally status helps, but my parents who have KF accounts with no status seem to get redemptions in J and F pretty easily as well as me (with status).

Looks like no more Kiehl's Amenity kits on SQ F flights. They've changed to some other brand :(

I will have to break this news to Mrscove quite gently as I saw her looking to buy more in Canary Wharf and at Heathrow without success in February. I think she had to pay a heap in Sydney.

I have a gross of untouched / unadulterated Kiehl's kits here in MEL cove and I know how important Mrs cove is to you - so get up in the stirrups young fella - I am open to others.

*Now watch all the whipper snappers scratching their heads.................."What the hell is a gross?"

Is your status with SQ, or another *A airline? I've often wondered if it would be advisable to swap out my (no status) KF number with my A3 *A Gold number for waitlisted booking, to potentially increase chances of waitlists clearing... no idea if this is even possible for unticketed award booking though!
