Thought it was a glitch on the site (mistake in the chart) as it seems to good to be true. Should make multiple bookings and got them to honour it :) Keep us apprised Cruiser.

If you can complete bookings at 82.5K then go ahead and make as many as you require - if they will complete in entirety you will be home and hosed.

But we want windows...
But I want to look out the window...
You think you want windows - nothing to see at 35K feet I assure you.

Totally up to you guys - but both of you are smart enough to know that in most cases with flights it is best to take the advice of those who have gone before you - and you have both seen time and time again couples saying C/D best to share the experience. But again neither of you came down in the last shower so up to you really.

The only way to complete would be via the call centre in honouring what is shown on the website less the 15% discount to bring it to 70125 points. But according to what you have heard that may be a tough ask?

Yep therein lays your dilemma - I will try to clarify in next hour or two.

We're smart enough to take your advice ;)

Just booked FRA-SIN-MEL for July 2016 - no window seats for us - Suites FRA-SIN;

And then F SIN-MEL:

Again IMHO and after >100 SQ R/F sectors these are by far the superior seat combos for couples - let me repeat - MHO only.

I've got Suites booked to go to the RWC. Only business confirmed for the way back, but waitlisted for Suites, fingers crossed it clears.

Can't wait for Dom and Lobster!

That reminds me, i need to book the cook!

I'm going Tuesday 15/9/15 pm before the 1st game England V Fiji.

When R u going?

I'm wait listed back on 4/10/15 for R but have a firm F seat on QF2

For our Syd-Sin-Hkg we have booked 3C, D for both flights as 2C, D seem to be blocked (Expert Flyer suggest seats are not booked by anyone)...can we turn them into a double bed?;)

Ok kids here is the guff re HKG-LAX. Firstly see the pts rqts for O/W Saver rdpts:

image.jpg

Looks pretty clear huh - LAX is on West Coast USA (Zone 13 you would assume) - pts req HKG (Zone 4) to LAX (Zone 13) would clearly appear to require 82.5K for O/W Saver Award - everybody agree?

BUT

See beside the pts listed in chart that intersect these two Zones the little + with the long bottom stick? See the notation at bottom of Award Chart:

image.jpg

Award bookings between Zone 4 and Zone 13 must be direct flights - no connections permitted - only permitted direct flight at these points rates is between Hong Kong and San Francisco - if you want to book HKG-SIN-LAX It prices basically as 2 seperate awards. I have clearly never booked this but I assume it could be done but certainly not at the Zone 4 to Zone 13 rates as shown on the Award Chart.

So YES the 82.5K pts listed on Award Chart and which appear on flight search result are correct - but for HKG-SFO only.

Have I explained that clearly enough for you guys to understand?
