The AFF Scavenger Hunt

You keep mentioning it, obviously happy to see someone else use it, so if it’s not gone, you’re welcome to PM it my way and I’ll post it on behalf of you ;)
and if I knew how to do that, it would be speeding it's way to you now. It's on my iPhone and thus why I said email or SMS...then you can work out how to get it onto AFF (I'm sure you know).

I would have taken it off you but I have no idea how to post photos on any website let alone AFF (or send them by SMS either for that matter) so I did not take you up on the offer. :-|
and the same for me :D (except I can send them by SMS)

Finally, I submit #40: A food or drink item (e.g. bag of nuts, bottle of water, etc.) that specifically states or shows that the item was prepared specially for an airline. Given to LW onboard flight QF 548 SYD/BNE on 23/2.

I think that’s my 3 done!

I don't think this really counts as "shakers", but you do have to shake the packet to get it out :p

Taken today in a J Class seat on 737-800.

:D

Do I need to take a photo of the word or can I just write what it is?

You could always write it on a piece of paper, photograph and post rather than trying to find it somewhere. I'm not the judge (or the rule creator), but
To "find" an item, simply take a photo of the item (including any conditions in the item), upload it then post it here.
seems pretty clear to me.

I would now like to claim #17 Wine served from a jug rather than a bottle.

<image>

The photo was taken tonight, Monday 1st March 2010. The wine was a Cow Bombie from BWS that earned me 100 extra points from EDR.

Both are fine. Well done, samh004 - you are now the third HoT finder! You now cannot find any more items (at least under your name :p)

Sorry 737, but I won't let that one pass. You're right, they're not shakers.

As I haven't covered that one, it's acceptable, but it'd be nice if you could take a field shot instead.

No:38 Salt and Pepper shakers on a plane. Taken this afternoon on QF818 MEL-CBR. Yes they're my salt and pepper shakers and they're empty but I believe this shot meets the stated criteria. :)

How can I (or anyone) be sure they are salt and pepper shakers?

Firstly, there's no salt nor pepper in them. Secondly, it's hard to see that they are really shakers - they could just be your other run-of-the-mill cylindrical containers.

Here is a much larger version of the photo, you can clearly see they are salt and pepper shakers. Happy to send original photo if required.

OK, I'm going to do a Lindsay here .... if none of the above salt and pepper shakers may are acceptable, I have a picture of my meal tray from last weeks flight, and in the corner lo an behold are some salt and pepper shakers (sitting on top of each other), happy to share....

Never mind - I'll pass that :)

Note to you, though: get better salt and pepper shakers :p :mrgreen: And, fill them with salt and pepper?

Actually there is a little bit of salt left, but as part of the diet (lost about 20 kg so far) I have cut salt out of my diet. Pepper comes straight from the grinder. I used these ones so that it didn't matter if they were lost whilst travelling and they are essentially unbreakable. :mrgreen:

Doing a Lindsay...have I become that infamous :shock::confused::rolleyes:

May I refer you to:

The status run has anat0l written all over it right down to the OMG flight from BNE. :p

Besides, you were infamous before I was any way, for a long time. I always wondered who was this comical Lindsay Wilson character when I joined AFF after reading your trip report about your wedding and honeymoon. :)

Well before this thread was started, that's for sure! :D:D:mrgreen:

Although I was really just trying to help others exactly as you did with the photo of the food item...

Re: The AFF Scavenger Hunt - Boarding Pass

Here's a boarding pass printed after OLCI on an otherwise blank sheet of A4 paper.
