The COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Australia has begun

Agree. Most projections now have NSW first. I think its then ACT and Tasmania. Then the National Average meets the target.

Under 12? I doubt it somehow. Hardly hear much in the way of trials even.
Yes, for under 12. Trials happening in the USA I believe. I think given the number of sick children in USA (from Delta), they will get there - at least under emergency usage. What it means for here...not sure.

Sure it was what you originally stated, no qualification that you are allowed to travel outside LGA or 5/10km radius if that's the nearest reasonable location. You do realise your comments remain on here for all to see!

Of course I do and you have ignored my original posts on this matter made yesterday, so let me draw your attention to them:

No in NSW you can only travel more than that distance if that medical treatment, test or vaccination is not available within 10km.

Also check out #4798:

You can not as RAM implied just travel any distance under the current lockdown rules citing the "medical"loophole, if you travel uncessary distances you can be fined. You have to show that you couldnt receive that treatement, test or vaccine within the approved 10km radius.

They absolutely refer to being ok if not available within the radius. Maybe before making a false accusation you should actually read the original post on the matter, instead of deciding a much later one was the original.

I know you think you and your posts are really important but if you make a post I will respond to what that post says.

I'm not going to go back and trawl through all your previously somewhat voluminous (and not always helpful) posts made yesterday or before because you might have been a little lazy on this one. If you have failed to make that qualification in your latest post that's your problem not mine. But glad you now have qualified it.

Apparently AZ is out of stock in the transit point we draw from!! (In VIC)…. I did hear that CSL were increasing production again does anyone know if that has been confirmed?
Best factual (not spin) source is the weekly report put out by the Vaccine Operations Centre. You may need to have the previous week's report open as well as the presentation is not consistent and often you have to work backwards to get the latest week's figure for something. Normally when it shows a week on week decrease.

Search on this each week: "Vaccine Operations Centre – Weekly Operational Update".

You may have to scroll down a few lines to find the latest report. The one due for August 9 is late.

I don’t need a source I can see the stock levels…. We draw on them 🤪

EDIT: Oh do you mean what CSL is actually sending out the factory gate?

SA is opening up Pfizer bookings to everyone aged 16-39 as of next Monday.
Front Page of Tomorrow's Advertiser: "Vax to the Max" - "Pfizer jabs for everyone aged 16-39" - "South Australia will become the first state to make all people aged between 16 and 39 eligible for Pfizer vaccines by opening bookings for Covid-19 jabs from Monday."

On the SMH there are a few vaccine related articles with the main one "States warn NSW against rogue decree on jab target".

Bookings open Monday for appointments in Sep - Oct so you are still ahead of schedule having had AZ, if you were in SA. Now we wait for the 60 plusses to start complaining. And country SA young ones have had access to Pzifer for a while now so just city people.

For those people still trying to find AZ appointments via GPs and struggling due to the big surge in interest, this legend has created a site that links to hot doc and pulls up the first available appointment nearest to you!

It’s been trending on reddit and the founder of Atlassian also just shared it so use it quickly!

Daily Telegraph reporter hospitalised with Pfizer related heart inflammation (Myocarditis?)

Firstly BOTH vaccines are extremely safe and effective.

However AZ was unnecessarily sabotaged by wrongly focussing on its tiny number of adverse events when a tiny fraction of people with both vaccines have adverse events.

In my circle, one person who just had their second Pfizer Dose was admitted to hospital yesterday after vomiting up blood.

However vaccines are very good, both are very safe, but yes a tiny, tiny few will have adverse outcomes. Just getting out of bed each day will see people have adverse events that have nothing to do with Covid. Nothing that we do in life is risk free .Meanwhile Delta is rife and is going to keep popping up. Get vaccinated and get vaccinated with any vaccine you can get now. The main risk from vaccination is not getting vaccinated.

The Daily Telegraph has picked up her story and it’s mentioned in the news.com.au COVID-19 blog.

Unfortunately while that may sound like good news, it will probably lead to a slower overall vaccination rate in SA as it will quite probably see more people just waiting for Pfizer/Moderna when those vaccines are going to be in short supply till October.
