This weekend, and there will be a special AFF breakfast with toasted cheese sandwichs, or maybe I am dreaming , or better still, next week and we can move the AFF Brisbane drinks to a new venue for the opening!

You guys are full of good ideas!
We love our toasties / grills as much as you do so will be trialling sandwich presses in SYD lounge later this week. If all goes well, all lounges will soon have sandwich presses.

Can you pop one in CBR as well so I can have a toastie before flying out on Saturday morning?

Well it looks like the fees for the lounge may increase further still, especially since Virgin Australia may need to buy a new toaster for the MEL lounge after Misha managed to set the current one on fire this morning :mrgreen:

Don't worry, my partner did the same on the Friday of the Queens birthday long weekend.

I have a feeling that may have caused the ash cloud not the Chilean volcano...

Feedback for VA - we want normal toasters, not the hotel style conveyor belts that under-cook on the first lap then catch fire and burn the toast the second time around!

Feedback for VA - we want normal toasters, not the hotel style conveyor belts that under-cook on the first lap then catch fire and burn the toast the second time around!

The lounge used to have normal toasters, and you still cannot do sandwiches on those! Biggest decision at the start of the day in the QP is often, will it be 3 or 5 times through the conveyor today for my muffin, unless I am in ADL!
