Somehat on topic. I went to Mum's around 3pm ths arvo, and spotted a QF tail at the airport as I was driving to her house. I was then taking her to the airport, and as we got close to the Intl terminal, I started ranting like an av geek about the 747 at gate (86???) and that there shouldn't be a QF 747 at BNE Intl after 3pm. I said it'd either be the SIN or LAX flight. Mum was on a NZ flight heading to NZ.
She texted me from the airport to let me know it was QF15 to LAX still there; quite a delay today. I had a similar delay in late '07 and was called by QF as I was in the checkin queue to advise there would be a 4hr delay due to fires around LA & the incoming aircraft. Funnily enough, Mum came to the airport to see me off that time, even though it was a work trip and Mr Katie and Little Miss 1 drove me to the airport.

I had lunch with a life-long friend in Glasgow last week and we were chatting about competing as children to meet him. It was an art competition and my friend won and he attended and I was devastated at the time

Well I really hope that turns out not to be true! Doesn't fit the bill at all to my mind but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I think the Australian entertainment. Industry has some real skeletons in the closet. If a similar probe was launched in Australia, and victims were willing to come forward, I suspect that there would be many people arrested.

Landlord can be fined up to 2500 pounds. Smokers there when the council visits can be fined 50 pounds.

How stupid is the landlord allowing this to go on (and he has a "no smoking " sign in the pub to meet. Regulations too.... )

No,mostly at Latrobe just out of Devonport but sometimes at Burnie.

A children's entertainer in Adelaide who is about the same age has just been convicted in Adelaide of child sex offences. He is dying so no jail time. As a child I always thought he was creepy, you know that feeling you get as kids that something isn't right? If the Aussie in England is convicted then given his really high profile in the highest of British society its going to be a big fall. Its the second time he's been held by police for such matters so there must be something there.

Noticed in today's AFR Flying Fish is for sale for $3.5m, not a bad buy considering she has a helicopter pad and was formerly Rene Rivikins under the name Dajo Shadita, now if walls could talk!
