Don't normally read the Age but thought these two articles were interesting

Seems like medicine is a good earner in Australia. Quite interesting to be able to put any occupation in and get the average taxable income if you like that sort of thing.

Very simplistic I am afraid.I am a General Physician which would come under Internal medicine specialists but it looks like they have lumped all non surgical specialists into the one category as there is no way a General physician earns more than a Cardiologist,Gastroenterologist,Radiologist or a Nuclear Medicine physician.

When Medicare released average receipts from Medicare to the various specialities General Physicians earnt slightly less than General Practitioners.I am not saying we are underpaid but the major part of my SMSF comes from Investment earnings not my contributions. This avenue is open to many.

From what I've seen & the bills I've paid - VETS must earn 100 times more than the average doctor:shock:

Great news just in. Number one daughter, is not suffering from tonsillitis, has had an upper respiratory infection of some type and the virus she has been suffer from is hand, foot and mouth. ?

I caught that from my son. When the doctor told me what he had, I thought she was joking. But she doesn't joke much.

I got him back a few years later. I got chicken pox as an adult and shared it with him. :)

I unloaded a weeks wage at the vet last week...that really hurt. And I still have no idea whats wrong with my dog...

I just feel so sorry for older people (pensioners) who are asked to fork out hundreds of dollars for their beloved pet.

Is it possible to find past broadcasts on the Qantas flight network? I'm looking specifically for Alan Kohler interviews where Mr Pushka was interviewed late last year.

Great news just in. Number one daughter, is not suffering from tonsillitis, has had an upper respiratory infection of some type and the virus she has been suffer from is hand, foot and mouth. Now, I'm sat in the DJ lounge in SYD waiting for the hotel to open for check in; feeling like cough, after taking a hayfever tablet that hasn't really made me feel any better; and checking for a rash on my hands.

But anyway, what is this hand, foot and mouth and what is wrong with South Australia that it seems to be doing the rounds?
At least I now know why you wouldn't shake my hand in the lounge today :!:
..... and I thought it was because you didn't want to associate with me.

I wondered about that myself last week when passing the massive earthworks going on next to DFO. I thought they should put those funds towards the new runway

I thought those ongoing earthworks of rock sorting is for the film set of the new Flintstones series.

Slightly good news that I don't have any visible rash. So perhaps I could have shaken your hand. ;)

I'm truly intrigued by the reasoning behind such an idea.
My idea?

By the way it was not only signs around the facility that needed changing, but large street signs and the T-buses have also been repainted with the new name instead of DFO.

In my opinion the name of a facility is important and Airport Village had a nice ring to it where as Skygate is just.... well.... meaningless....

That is not much fun. I had chicken pox for the first time as a 46 year old and I am still suffering from the damage caused now. :(
