The usual affect is to destroy morale because the worker gets blamed regardless.
Sad really. Some of these people have now moved 4-5 times in past 12 months we have been in new office. Their morale is shot. Not good.

Luckily I have been spared and I am the same desk I have been for the past 12 months and best thing about position is the window is behind me and everyone else is in front of me or to the side in some way or another. I despise being in the middle of the room and having people behind me.

Anyway most of my day is spent in the quiet room these days as that is the only way to drown out the constant noise.

So my sister just had a little girl. Never heard my parents so happy!

It is pretty cool I must admit.. :)

Congrats to Aunty hummel (based on it being a girl ;) ). Grandchildren do tend to make your parents happy. Another area of spectacular failure on my behalf.

And yet in the cold hard light of day it doesn't count. :)

Here in MEL the rain is pouring down and has been for several hours.

The rain has been great! I have a blocked gutter that I can't reach :(

What? cough weather in Australia yet a great day in London?

Wow. Does make a change.

cough weather in Australia is good weather in London.

I actually like the rain, it has a cleansing feel and means I can watch junk tv without feeling guilty.

We've even had a lot of rain in Adelaide.

What is it with weather bureaus. Yesterday, May 31 in the papers they announced that May had not reached its average May rainfall by something like 10 mls. I look out the window at the rain tumbling down. Way more than 10 mls. What? Does the last day of the month not count? Stupid.

Haven't read the article... but yes. Supposedly 20ish weather this weekend. And yes it is pleasant. Perhaps another BBQ is on the cards. Haha. But relies of course on the London BBQ master. Although my apartment complex does have a roof area with scenic views of *not much except snippets of the tallish buildings in london and a little bit more * the serious lack of BBQ equipment does stuff up that plan of me hosting a BBQ.
