Without dredging up the past debate, how does this make Brisbane less attractive than Sydney for a weekend?

You're doing the same thing.

Do you want evening dinner/pub suggestions? Would that be useful?

Good grief. I wonder what the spread of star signs is on AFF.

No I don't. That one was pointed out to me.

Should be fairly even really. However... I suspect Taurus and Gemini will feature slightly higher. Now I have bias because I will normally identify birthdays close to mine and remember them. Also I share my birthday with at least one other AFFer.

Just like me :D please tell me I'm not the only one who arranges all her tops in the wardrobe by colour :p

Oh dear. There must be a support group for that!
My clothes tend to be sorted into three piles: Washed, "needs a wash" and "could be worn again before washing".

Grouped by category, style, then colour, surely...?
...and the washing? (including peg colour-matching?)

Ummm, almost! Dressy tops at one end, casual at the other. Then by colour...makes it easier to find what I want in that early morning pre-caffeine fog.

no matching pegs, who could be bothered?!

Currently not by colour but by function. Vests through shirts through cardis then dresses. I'm a Gemini. Tomorrow it might be by colour.

Nope, I also unpack my shopping trolley on the conveyor belt at Woolies according to temperature, weight and category of grocery and get very upset if the checkout operator packs them randomly in the wrong enviro bags :!:

This is where I like self service... I choose how to pack. Oh and dumping my coin pocket worth of change into a machine is so satisfying.

Had my first look at Costco, Auburn this week.......can see why the local retailers are nervous!

Some interesting facts.....

Auburn does >1M a day.

Best WOW/Coles store in the land does <2M a week.

Ps - they have packers at every checkout!

I can see a Costco doing 1 mill a day. But thought there are a few Coles or ww stores that would be higher than 2 mill a week. when I worked in retail many moons ago, I expect that the store I worked for would have been well over 2 mill a week but no idea on actual numbers. Now under Coles branding... So would still expect a high throughput.

Avg WOW store is < 800k per week.

That the problem with opening sooooo many stores.....cannibalisation starts to consume you.

I do my own version of that too, but there is always one numpty who puts the watermelon/bread at the bottom of the bag and piles everything on top. I'm not opposed to rearranging the bags once they're in the trolley...

The worst is if they put the meat in sideways and then all the red coloured water leaks out into the bag.

It is make more sense for WOW or Coles to cannibalise their own stores than have a competitor take their sales.

Bothered? Now you're just making fun of me, aren't you? ;)
But who gets dressed before coffee, for Pete's sake???
