No I cant. This is from my computer.I was told when I started not to bother with internet access I wont get it.

Wow! Are they trying to make it as difficult as possible for you to do your job properly? Bureaucratic mindset, I guess.
I have similar issues with where I am now - a dedicated office supplied with a computer but the OS and programs are in Chinese and no internet access...
"No, you can't load Windows on in English; no, you can't have internet!"
"Why not?"
Meltdown, lots of rapid-fire Chinese, arm-waving, turning in small circles, finger-pointing ..."can't"...
Actually that last bit may have been me. Somewhat pointless execise but all very entertaining nonetheless.
I am home in a couple of weeks and have Windows and Office Pro there on disc to bring back...

I have been in Perth for a week, that week sure went by quick, within the first week I found myself a place to live, well for 29 weeks starting from 22June, hopefully a few things that I put on a pallet will arrive by next Friday, I still have a few bigger furniture items to be shipped from Brisbane but I wanted to find a place then decide then whether I would need those items, some places were being offered for rent with furniture.

I am currently staying with a family who work with the new company that brought our company. They were from Rhodesia, before moving to South Africa, then Perth, then Darwin, then Geraldton then back to Perth, so they know a bit about moving.

I heard Rhodesia come up in conversation a few years back and wondered where it was, it is now the modern day Zimbabwe, which had the huge inflation, Rhodesia was a British outpost in Africa that shares a border with South Africa, Zambia and a few other countries and the British left and Robert Mugabe came to power in 1980 and then a flood of people left.

My work is basically the same as I did in Brisbane for the short term but I will start to look after some of the financial stuff of the bigger company like GST returns and other boring jobs, I wonder if the new boss knows about paying BAS via credit card.

I will be heading to Sydney for the AFF mid year XMAS then head up to Brisbane for a day before heading back to Perth with 5 more pieces of luggage thanks to Virgins generous luggage allowance.

Well as long as you are not using government cabcharge vouchers.:p:shock::lol:

Not a chance! Nil funded Govt subsidized, grants or junket travel. Just a legitimately private funded research excercise today. ;-)

Hey .... me too .... and I am a LEO

My dad laughed at me for arranging my pantry into nice neat rows, but then my brother went and alphabetised my sisters herbs and spices. So apparently it runs in the family. :p

Apparently 2-3% of the population suffer from OCD...not me - I love it! :D

I wouldn't say I have it... but certainly borderline. Much the same as you though, love it and couldn't imagine life without it (that need for perfection...).

:D that strive for perfection: Son (11) has a diagnosis of Asperger's - he is very high-functioning, extremely intelligent and enjoys his life immensly - we have great fun together!
To witness his eidetic memory in action is something else - I can't get away with anything!

In some circles, that would be the condition formerly known as Asperger's!

Isn this related to leases and how it is cheaper to keep a non performing store open than walk away from a lease?

Not when they build one across the road - more to do with blocking the others out......land banking is the other tactic.

Costco will remediate some of the issues Australia faces with retail... But they really are a tiny threat at the moment. I still recall people saying ALDI will devastate the Australian retail market. Hmm...

Many are worried about Costco. High on the list is Westfield No Cookies | The Courier-Mail gotta love the "too big" argument put forward by the house of Lowy!
