Well got my user name and password to get computer access at the hospital. However if I try to access results-access denied.Try to access clinical applications-access denied.Try to access Physician's roster-access denied. So I have worked out that I have permission to log on and off from the computer but nothing else.Sometimes you have just got to love the Public Service.
And it took at least 3 people and 2 weeks to get this far.

Luckily you can still access AFF... ;)

It is make more sense for WOW or Coles to cannibalise their own stores than have a competitor take their sales.

Maybe, there are many suburbs where there are stores of the same brand on the each side of the road facing each other..........both end up returning poor results.

Bunnings are now doing the same in an attempt to starve Masters.

Costco model is completely different - 6th largest retailer in the World with only 600 odd stores.

WOW and WES have thousands of stores each.

Ummm, almost! Dressy tops at one end, casual at the other. Then by colour...makes it easier to find what I want in that early morning pre-caffeine fog.

no matching pegs, who could be bothered?!

Currently not by colour but by function. Vests through shirts through cardis then dresses. I'm a Gemini. Tomorrow it might be by colour. 

I'm a by function too..... 'cept no dresses in there

This is where I like self service... I choose how to pack. Oh and dumping my coin pocket worth of change into a machine is so satisfying.

I do my own version of that too, but there is always one numpty who puts the watermelon/bread at the bottom of the bag and piles everything on top. I'm not opposed to rearranging the bags once they're in the trolley...

Come to the UK then. You always have to pack your own....... unless there's some community group/sports club there who will pack them for a fee for you...

Scorpion Here.

Bet you have quite the sting!

Should be fairly even really. However... I suspect Taurus and Gemini will feature slightly higher. Now I have bias because I will normally identify birthdays close to mine and remember them. Also I share my birthday with at least one other AFFer.

Actually, I think, from memory, population stats show a bit of a peak in births in Sept/Oct and a bit of a low point in April/May.

(Holidays and the like do have an effect on these things...)

Isn this related to leases and how it is cheaper to keep a non performing store open than walk away from a lease?

Maybe Costco will remediate some of the issues Australia faces with retail... But they really are a tiny threat at the moment. I still recall people saying ALDI will devastate the Australian retail market. Hmm...

Hmmm... Sept/Oct minus nine months gives Dec/Jan, i.e. Christmas, New Year...

Apr/May minus nine months gives July/August, which is the start of the new financial year in Australia; not sure about the rest of the world, but not really any holidays then - just middle of the year.

That sound like a fair but rough assessment? :)

Perhaps celebrating a good tax return...

In Sunshine Victoria, there are 2 WW stores that are separated by a street. Maybe ~200 meters apart. One might have been a Franklins previously but I am not sure.

What about November? Valentines Days and all?

When you are in Melbourne you should try Melbas at the Langham. Took a couple of foodies there last night and it all went well.
You do notice that the price rises on the weekend and that lunch is the best priced option rather than Friday and Saturday night.
Then there is a credit card surcharge which is a bit ridiculous.

I make sure that it is obvious what I am doing when I have a numpty pack. But I love self serve.

drron, you need to reduce your expectations.

Having our wedding reception at The Langham later this year, thankfully only for ~45 guests but am looking forward to going in and sampling the food to choose the menu. Lobster anyone?
