You are still at the easy part of life.

Wait until it starts to get difficult. ;)

Bring on the difficult!

For my own sake JohnK, I hope the easy part as you state it ends tomorrow...(I graduate if I pass this current semester)

I wish you the best of luck with your exams.

Difficult is learning to adjust when you are not able to do the things you once did. :(

Thank you JohnK.

Uni life has served me especially well in terms of being able to travel at short notice to a lot of sporting events over the past 4 or so years. Not to mention the many other trips made possible purely by the fact that I didn't have to be somewhere other than a classroom a few hours per week. But I am keen to get working and developing professional, relevant skills.

The adjustment will be hard, I agree. The concept of annual leave will hit hard if I manage to land a full-time job!

And that is why I work in Sydney. So I don't have to drive in Adelaide.

Not to mention SWMBO turning into mrs bucket. "Watch the cyclist, medhead"

I wish the cyclists had number plates so they could be reported for crossing intersections on a red light, riding in a peloton on local roads, cutting into car lanes, not using bike lanes and so on. Too many of them expect drivers to watch out for them when they don't watch out for themselves.

When I was residing in Switzerland, the bicycle had to be registered, with an annual fee applicable & small licence plate was issued & displayed.
The main purpose of this was in any event of an accident it was covered & for primarily insurance purposes.
The Swiss police were very strict about this & often checked for compliance.
It is a wonderful regulation that actually is for the benefit of the rider & vehicle drivers as well.
Strangely enough, helmets were not compulsory.

Insurance. Interesting question. I'm guessing they are currently covered?

Just submitted my last assignment... once it is marked and I pass, I'll have a Diploma in OHS!

Next task is to update my resume and look for a new job or promotion.

Opposites attract indeed :D
Just clearing out some stuff for recycling and found in the "out" pile Shrek's entirely underwhelming but recently received Lifetime Silver letter. I asked him if it was a mistake and he looked at me as if I was the Mars robot from the new QFF ad :!:
(Mine is in the keepsake pile along with the BP from the flight that got me there)

I found out yesterday that my application to study has been accepted. I haven't studied in 17yrs and am a bit concerned that I'll struggle.
