Just about to hit midnight and still not completely dark in Norway. Nuts!

I once stayed in Trondheim near the summer solstice and that weird feeling walking around in middle of night with the sun low in the horizon blew my mind. However with the price of booze in Norway made it hard to really get inebriated!

Wasn't there previously talk of having a seperate F1 thread? or one alrady created?

For the sake of those who aren't interested, and for Golfers, perhaps a sepeate rolling F1 2013 thread?

Fanatics in any sport are not good.

I dont need to idolise anyone. Definitely not a mere mortal anyway.

Wow.  And the Europeans say Aussies have no culture. I say if you can't handle/adapt to a couple of kids getting wet at the beach. You have no culture.

Golf vs driving? Everyone can play golf. It's just the score that varies. Being a poor player doesn't mean you can't play.

Thought I was on the 1700h flight, rushed to airport in taxi at 1550h to make checkin.

Checked in at premium to find I was actually on the 1800h flight.

Went through security and looked at my BP to find I was allocated 8B. The preallocation I did on the phone for row 3 last week has not stuck. Miffed, but I guess I got what I deserved (i.e. Golds shouldn't get row 3). Of course, being on a Saver, can't use my complimentary upgrade. Service desk offered 4C - good enough.

Upstairs area is closed - probably only opened based on demand.

Taxi cost was $35 including credit card surcharge. The cost of your injured pride is low in Sydney. ;) :)

Glad you made the flight. I was getting worried when you didn't show up before we went to board.

Upstairs is generally only open during the week (peak?).

Possibly.

The statement was directly related to sports though.
