Double fail isn't it, the person who threw them into the skip .. then him for making Paperboy? (DNRTFA!)

Oh so true. But similar stuff happens at times. Basically only a small portion of society knows the true value of specialist items.

I shouldn't have thrown the bread bag in the bin this evening then? :(

The bread bag, you throw. It's the plastic tie thingy that no one is keeping, so will be worth a small fortune* in years to come!

*a VERY small fortune.

I know I did just recently when someone sent me a link to read....!

Good. The more people do that the more feedback they'll get its not on. We could get the social networks to hammer the "click off the Ooops page". ;)

Dunno. But I am an expert and have decided your bread bag is worth .... 1p.
PS. I will swap you an ugandian 10 shilling coin for your bread bag.
Pps. While it is similar in size and shape to the UK 50p coin... It is not advisable to ever accept it as change accidentally.

My Mother in law was using a beautiful antique desk in her laundry to put detergents on. When she died and her house was being valued, the agent was more interested in the desk.

Crickeys, that's twice I've mentioned her in this forum today. Now that is scarey.

Well golly! If I save enough of those up.... I'll be a billionaire in no time :D

I remember someone venting in the media because over the years they had saved bucket loads of those paper clip things and he was told by charities he had intended to give them to, they didn't want them and had no use for them. He was very angry.

Another useless observation from my travels.

Avoid sitting next to the fat man at all costs.

My SIL and BIL bought a "grandma" house a few years ago. There is carpet in the kitchen!!!

When I purchased my current home many years ago it had carpet in the kitchen. Was quite ok. I have since removed it and have polished floor boards which I prefer.
