The last OT flight was in June.

I quite enjoyed my one & only OT flight! Flying down to Sydney from Newcastle at stupid o'clock on a Saturday morning after a late night on Friday night, I was surprised to be able to see out the front window of the plane. It was a great view from the plane over the city. Coming in to land, the captain had to pull up suddenly just prior to touching down to avoid a birdstrike.

They used to give ATC folk free rides to Belmont, was not unusual for us to catch a plane for a day at the beach!

Seeing out the front is definitely different! We got to do it with Kan Air's C208.

I think I spent most of the flight watching the instruments and view

I didn't know that! If they did then they'd make a bit out of OOL, I wake up to the sounds of them climbing toward the north. Seems they are quite popular here!
