Interesting, we can despatch our pets humanly but not our loved ones or ourselves for that matter. Difficult subject very polarising.

For a long time it has annoyed me that we can do this to our pets & animals but not to ourselves or loved ones. In some instances, keeping a person alive is prolonging their pain & making things harder for those who are caring for them.

Any of you dudes seen this before:

It's a freestanding scanner, camera, video - does a multitude of tasks - software uploaded and just configure away. Our Chinese manufacturers arrived in Australia for a visit today and brought me one as a gift - I know I don't get out much but I have never seen this before - it is just brilliant!

JohnK. Try the driver install from here Samsung Andorid USB Driver for Windows | SAMSUNG Developers
it isn't the latest but should.be a clean install.
Thanks. Seems to have done the trick. Connected Samsung Galaxy S to computer and it searched for drivers and found them and then I disconnected and connected again and it asked what I wanted to do with the drive.

I am pretty sure USB plug-and-play support was included from the outset for XP and later.

- Disconnect the USB cable
- Go into Settings/Wireless&network/USB utilities...
- Select "Connect USB Storage to PC"
- Connect Cable
- Select "Connect USB Storage"

When finished make sure you "Unmount/Eject" the "drive" before disconnecting the USB.
Thanks. I remember doing something similar in the past but did not need to do it this time around.

Watch out Kevin Rudd has just resigned. He could be sitting next to you sometime soon.
I hope your "platinum shadow" blocks him out.

It's amazing that after 4 months of "chill time", 3 days into the working week and it feels like it never happened!

It is fundamental to humans that some people are values/beliefs driven, others are not. Neither is wrong, just the way it is.

but it becomes wrong when beliefs driven people incite discrimination, hatred or violence based on their beliefs. it is sometimes even more harmful when the beliefs are baseless.

As do I...can't seem to do multiquote on IPad, but to a couple of the posters above, do you have an advanced care directive?... And importantly does your next of kin know about it and your wishes?

AHD's - an important part of estate planning. I've had mine in place for ~10 years. I saw my grandmother at 99 have a Grand Mal and then be bed-ridden, unable to communicate for the next 2.5 years - we knew she could hear and understand as my brother and his wife announced to her on her 100th birthday that they we're going to have a child. She hung around to see him.

I am therefore pro euthanasia and have watched most of the programs on it generally and specific cases (Peter Smedley et al). I applaud their decision to go at a time of their choosing.
