but it becomes wrong when beliefs driven people incite discrimination, hatred or violence based on their beliefs. it is sometimes even more harmful when the beliefs are baseless.

Yes. That's true. But it does explain why some people behave differently and think differently to others.

You dont need to start on religion. There are cons everywhere. They are not all religious.

Science does not have all the answers. Science isnt right about everything. Where science has no explanation it substitutes a formula to make it believable to some.

I have no idea how you can comment about something that you clearly do not understand. Science never claims to have all the answers. Science only ever claims to provide the understanding at a particular point in time. A formula does not make things believable as in how you believe in your opinion despite the evidence to the contrary. A formula explains how a subject behaves according to the current level of understand.

It is a formula developed by science that explains how a metal can fly. A formula describes the physically observed act of flying. The formula doesn't makes me believe that flying happens, the act of flying makes me believe that. The fact that the formula can predicted an observable event like flying demonstrates that the formula is correct.

Everything you do in this world is based on science and a formula. Build a bridge and get over it.

Stay safe those in Brisbane, some pretty wild weather coming down the storm chute:
A lot to look forward to for the next 6 months. Is that storms 6 days in a row now?

I had a hire car on Sunday and was in Oxley and witnessed a big storm go past, then across and then back again. I was panicking but luckily no hail there although it did hail in Springfield. Can't work out how the hire car companies determine that hail is the hirers fault.

Best shut up now before I get accused of knocking Brisbanes beautiful weather again.

Is it totally acceptable for someone to incite discrimination, hatred or violence based on their non-religious beliefs?

Religious beliefs are baseless? So the universe is 14 billion years old. The earth is 4 billion years old. There is evidence of life on earth as far back as 3.5 billion years ago. These beliefs are not baseless? Science is able to make accurate predictions even though no one was around? Who would question science, right? Scientists are very smart people? Theologians are biased, irrational and dumb?

Believe what you like. But just because you believe it does not make it right. Far from it....
