LOL! If only 30 minutes delay then that is a normal day for me. :p

And if there is no delay then start worrying that the sky is about to fall in.

Lots of time in the QP for you then! :D (but I understand how it would soon become wearing).

I heard today that some Japanese banks will be changing their ATMs so they allow Yen withdrawals for non Japanese issued cards.

I got excited until the target date mentioned by one bank was 2016.

It shouldn't be that hard, should it?

Japan is still a huge cash society. Most transactions are still made in cash, especially eating.

AFAICT / AFAIK public transportation, e.g. Tokyo Suica, will only accept cold hard cash.

When I was there in 2011, the only machines that I remember taking non Japanese cards & allowing them to withdraw cash was those in the 7/11 stores. Will have to compare when I go in February.

There's a few Citibank ATMs scattered around too.

OJC looking very dirty on the outside.

Assume it must be going soon but surely a bath is in order.

When in Japan I have a yen for cash.

In Sth Korea I always think I've Won when I open my wallet, whereas in the UK my wallet weighs a lot because it is full of pounds.

Thailand is difficult because there are lots of Bahts.

In Malaysia I think it's a phone because I have to Ringgit, now it's time for me to go to Viet Nam so someone can Dong me.

I heard you get Real airfares in Brazil

Won some tickets in a comp and sold them on Ebay. Now the buyer says they didn't receive them! They reported it to Ebay, paypal is holding my payment. Arrrrr

Is it worth reporting it to Police? I will be at the concert so I could actually go to the seats and see who is sitting there.

Edit: I sent with Auspost with a tracking number but not registered.
