Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I think I may have pipped you.

I'm working pretty much every day between now & Jan 6 (then start a new job Jan 7) as well...... but I don't mind, and I'm not in trouble so long as I give Mrs Flashback some time when asked!!

Last year I worked every day from Xmas Eve to NYD. This year, I jagged Xmas Day & Boxing Day off.

I'm working late NYE & am going to America on NYD.

Does garlic not smell the same to everyone?

Seriously it is disgusting. Stop using it with your daily meals. Especially when it is coming out of the pores.

And yes I know milk may also smell but it doesn't knock you out like the smell of garlic.

Well I guess you would not like the Stinking Rose restaurant in SFO-start with a whole roasted garlic then their wonderful 40 clove chicken.
Not wise to go shopping afterwards. The shop assistants back away very quickly.

Won the lottery at DFW today. Both of us given TSA pre check status.
Shoes, jacket and belt remain on.Liquids and computers stay in bag.Speeds up the process.
And no whole body scan as well.

I'm working Friday (today until close to 6, same on Monday, half day on Tue. )
Then on leave until the 3rd and back at work on that day.

Is there any way you could cache web pages so you could read them when offline (most planes)?

Would be nice to be able to cache on reading materials on the way to somewhere.

Thanks in advance

Isn't there an app for that?

No unfortunately. Good suggestion though. Power is back on now but winds are really high. That's what caused the problem in the first place. Severe weather warning now out but much cooler. So far so good. But look out Melbourne.

Chatting to the parents now, they've got a blackout forecast to be resolved at 9pm tonight.

Last check there were 20,000 homes affected. Winds are finally dropping though. And yes it's so widespread I just heard the all day blackout too. Hope the parents get sorted quickly. :(

Yes: click on the 'share' icon, and then "Add to reading List'. Now it has been stored for you to read offline at your leisure. Of course any links won't work so you may want to 'Add' the linked pages as well.

Oh, this is for Safari running on Mac OSX. If you are using a Windows based browser, you may have to wait a year or two for it to catch up. In which case I would suggest printing the pages you want to read. :p
