TE do you know Ciao Italia Italian Restaurant in NKG? It's first street to left behind Sheraton Hotel - FABULOUS Italian food. Chef / owner is Giuseppe - came to NKG about 20yrs back when Fiat had like >100 full time Italian employees there - they could not get Italian food so Giuseppe fronted up and opened Italian Restaurant and the rest is history. ALWAYS the first restaurant I hit when in town.

No I don't know it but I know the street (Shigu Lu) quite well - there is a well-known expat bar (Jimmy's) just off Shigu Lu not far from the Sheraton.
I'll put Ciao Italia to the top of my list and will try it this week and report back ;) Thanks for the heads-up, Cruiser.

I'm trying to explain to a Canadian what Vegemite is after I posted a photo of a tube I purchased to take to America.

Why can't I paste into the new app? Say I copy something. Then go to reply to a thread, it won't let me paste... It's definitely copied, because I can paste it in other apps, just not AFF. And it's words, not a pic or anything.

Even better!
2 rather than 3 examiners? 1 from your department/school?

Nope, 2 external examiners. All nominated examiners must pass conflict of interest checks run by the graduate school; being a member of the same institution would automatically rule one out.

One of my examiners shouldn't have been allowed, a massive conflict with competing work and he tried to fail my thesis even though the other examiner passed it "as is".

So Attaching Flounge passes or $50 notes to each page is not the right thing to do.

My father spent many years in Nanjing, and I spent some time there as a young lad also... The small street his apartment overlooked in 1997-1998 is now a 6 lane dual carriageway (3 lanes each way). The noodle man with a pushcart has upgraded to a small premise on the ground floor of a mixed use medium rise tower (right next to a travel agency). The "new" bridge is now the "old" bridge, and there is a "new new" bridge.

There is a photo of me somewhere in one of the museums. Let me see if I can dig it up (well photo of the photo of me in the museum).

I haven't been back for years, and I really should... If I recall correctly, the Howard Johnson Hotel used to have a good bar? But this was years ago... I probably wouldn't recognise the place now.

Its a bit hard to price the non alcohol items

Indeed, the gourmet / boutique nature of many of the items makes getting an accurate price is a little hard.

Bruny Island Cheese Co. is generally a little pricey, although I have liked what I have tasted from them.
