Yep I get to keep the money!
The buyer can only try to do a chargeback against paypal.
But as far as I am concerned I feel that Paypal must have seen that there was enough evidence on my side to conclude the tickets arrived at there destination and perhaps the buyer had a previous history of frivolous claims!

But I like this statement by Paypal for this claim below.

Glad to hear it. I have a fuel voucher on auction at the moment, which I will be sending via Royal Mail registered/tracked post. I think that if they have a signature showing they received it .. then they have received it and thus have no recourse!

Look, I get some people want to take today and tomorrow off... However if you are scheduled to work today, to get people into work... And you don't show up, cancelling the train as a result you inconvenience those of us who do need to work!

That is all.

Wait till 4pm... Mass cancellations and delays will be occurring. Arrgh.

Civil Service here used to do that, it was called a privilege day. I think this is the first year they've not been given it.

Is that so........ well if you're bored, you can finish something off for me ;)

Pfft. Tomorrow is finish work. Quick drink with colleagues at the pub, followed by dash into London and out of London to see family. Then pre Christmas dinner and catch up then a mad rush for the last train.

If you sub for me with the family, I'll install and configure that software ;)

Indeed it happened. Had to take the longer tube/bus combo but I still think it got us home earlier than our usual train would have... When we arrived at the station at 9.20 there were still 8pm trains on the board.

About to head off to MEL to start 3 weeks away, worked up until yesterday and has been so hectic!

MEL-BNE - 4 days with the in-laws - actually looking forward to it

BNE-SYD - 4 nights in SYD over NYE

SYD-PPT - 6 nights in Bora Bora for our honeymoon.. can't wait!

All on my own at work today, or at least I think I am. I can hear people around but they don't belong to my intitute. Hospitals are a strange place to be when theres no one around...

Sure we'll be full for the morning, all hands on deck. Still, first Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day off in my (only 4 year) working life!
