Very nasty. Just showed it to an engineer who has done some rail work and he said it looks very like the top of the i-beam railway track has literally been ripped off.
In that area likely to be a lengthy repair - presumably middle of the viaduct over rushcutters bay

Having experienced -40C + wind recently - I know which one I prefer.

I'll take +40C any day of the week!

Just got a text and an email from 3K advising me that due to civil unrest I may wish to change my flights and they would be happy to help, very nice of them to do that when the flight was yesterday :oops:.

Missed it by 'that' much!

I would believe it! It could equally apply to any of the emergency/public safety organisations.

Indeed, this is true of many organisations and industries.

Many of the best teachers and university academics end up being promoted into administration roles, and as a result have less time for teaching and/or research...

Funnily enough we are still waiting to break the temp record set in 1939...75 years ago...
