You've missed a couple of scorchers. Generally the last few days indeed have been quite comfortable.

As you can tell, the Mexicans are experiencing quite a bit of a heat blast at the moment. ;) :p

Absolutely no insult intended to those who are currently or potentially being affected by bush fires - please stay safe.
It's dropped to a barmy 36deg here now. (from a high of 41.1 at 1430)

Think I'll come to BNE for a couple of days :!: :cool:

It's been cooler here in tropical Philippines.. was wearing a jacket yesterday @ 22 degrees. :mrgreen:

I'd do anything to wear a jacket right now...now we have dry lightening strike fires, once of which was reported by a pilot who saw the strike and fire start.

It was cooler than that in Thailand a few weeks ago. I was cold and should have worn my rain jacket on the golf course in the afternoons.

Landlord wants to increase rent from $275/week to $285/week for my rundown apartment with no airconditioning.

The apartment next to mine is recently refurbished and is being listed end of this week for $285/week with all of this included! :shock:

Surprisingly big and with freshly polished floors and a new lick of paint... How can you go wrong?!

Comprising
* Reverse cycle air conditioning (heating & cooling)
* Polished timber floors
* Separate kitchen with new gas appliances
* Bathroom has toilet and shower
* BIG built-in wardrobe

Although I think the listing could be wrong showing it as furnished as the unit opposite is listed at $295/week and is unfurnished. Makes my $275/week feel like a rip-off. :confused:

Welcome to the rental market! ;)

Unfortunately lease runs until end of March. :(

Is it managed by the same agent? If so, perhaps you could switch.... if you don't ask, you won't know! Worst they can say is no. If it is the same agent and they say no, you could point out the 2 units and show that yours should be billed at less due to less features.
