HR strikes again; failed to implement our annual pay increase which is written into our EBA....

They've dumbed down payroll so much, with pay increases and tax payment summaries based on full pay periods (so they don't have to calculate daily amounts); how can these guys still screw up?

There was a delay in getting my new contract as there is a merge taking place. However, our existing EBA still stands. All others have had their compulsory pay rise except our group, as our boss decided we shouldnt have one. Which of course is against the EBA and therefore not his decision.

Have a chat to your union, as there are quite severe penalties for that sort of thing.

Unfortunately with my two "careers" I belong to one union but not the other. First point of call will be HR.

I went back to where we went last week.

This is not a whinge but Brisbane shuts down at the first smell of rain. I can see Milton Road from my window. It was a mess until a few minutes ago. Traffic banked up back to Auchenflower.
