A Qantas employee won their case in 1996 when they became engaged to a US Marine and relocated (AMACSU v Qantas Airways Ltd), while a Bachelor who had always lived with his parents lost his when the parents moved to Tassie and he followed (Thomson v Pauls). I suspect illness might sometimes be easier or harder to prove depending on the case details, when your Doctor says you have the highest blood pressure he has ever seen, in my case it was quite clear.

Things get more complicated as life goes on, I hope traveling is helping to ease the blood pressure.

Pills worked for me. 25 years ago BP was 175/110. Daily pill ever since. BP last week was 127/74

I was over 200/120 and are now similar, so the pills are working, focus is to actually find a new job, leave money dries up kick and nothing replaces commission.

QF651 and QF660 were both 767s ex ADL to BNE today, end of school hols.

If you are lucky enough to get an Op-Up, how do they notify you?

Phone call? At check-in? Whilst doing OLCI? Whilst boarding aircraft?
