Including TV. I am so over T20 cricket. But even that isn't done yet.

I'm not sure what the exact intention of T20 cricket is, they may as well just put a machine that spits out balls at say 1 ball every 2 seconds, and let the batsmen just slog them all wherever they want. Perhaps spectators who catch a ball get a free lapdance from the cheersquad? or why not go the American way and let them keep the ball?

The only way I see T20 contributing to other forms of cricket is if the ICC decide that all forms of cricket , test matches, ODI's and T20 must consist of the same players, say in a squad of 15 or so. But yeah..right..the $$ have made their way into the game now.

Indeed. I refuse to watch it and have never seen a match and never will. One day I like, tests I like.

I do not take too much notice of one-day cricket either.

I think T20 it will be the end of cricket in the way we know it, it will become English baseball, only full of gambling corruption from the sub-continent.

T20 is a different game and should not be confused with cricket. Much like the Sixes tournament in Hong Kong.

My thoughts on gambling in sports are known. It should be banned. It serves no real purpose. Bored people throwing away their hard earned money. There is a reason why many online bookmakers are some of the richest people in the world.

I saw a young mother with 3 young kids in the TAB around 8:00pm before Christmas. She was going through the football matches in the UK choosing various bet options on the games on offer. Why? Some quick bucks? Dont know how much money she was spending but more than likely her kids will starve unless she was money laundering. First goal scorer, last goal scorer, half time score, margin.

Dont get me started on cricket betting. Betting on which bowler is going to bowl a no-ball with the 2nd ball of the 6th over? Seriously?

What should we conclude from this observation:
a) Aliens suffer deep entrenched photophobia?
OR
b) Slight chance they may not really exist?

My suspicions are they continue to observe. Some may have infiltrated already.

Specialist paediatrician, still going through testing, but it looks like she has a learning & development disorder (I think that's how it is categorised; am being a bit purposefully vague for now). Will probably require occ therapy (according to me & OTs i know) and perhaps medication. We'll see, and I'm still researching, as well as trying to find other specialists without 6mth waiting lists or who will answer their phones!

The last 5 minutes of our initial consult we were told both parents shouldn't be working full-time, after-school care is too stressful, international travel is too stressful, and most of his parents ultimately completely change their lifestyle and live in a hut in the bush (OK, i'm exaggerating, but he was talking about people moving into less stressful lifestyles). The work thing was like a punch to my guts, and I don't know if he thought he was helping, but everything then about travel, after-school care, going bush, etc, was just making it worse!!

Time for more understanding paediatrician. I'll bet their partner doesn't have to work because of the $ they are pulling in. Alas, the majority of the population require a full time employee and a part-time/casual to actually make ends meet. Find somebody who is in touch with reality. The fact that your daughter has experienced more than most people and is well adjusted speaks volumes as to how you and your husband treat her.

I don't think I cried when I took her to her first ophthamologist appt and was told she'd have at least 1, maybe 5 surgeries to try to fix her eyes!!

Last year whilst away we developed a leak in a water pipe on our property.Unity watersaid tough luck and pay up-$1800.
Today mrsdrron found another water leak.This time before our meter.Rang Unity water.The team there within 30 minutes and 20 minutes later all fixed with the pipe replaced.

I think they all behaved badly given it was a Memorial Service. which actually suggests Obama was more than a little taken with the woman - forgetting where he was. And as I've said before, I loathe selfies and think it is a pity that this one was taken when it was - I thought Obama had more class.

You always want leaks before the water metre!

IIRC SA Water will 'write off' one water leak per decade. We had one 3yrs ago and the excess water was written off

We've had the same. The leak in the property was around the same $$ however, I got a plumber to fix and confirm the cause was an underground leaky pipe - got my money back! Can't recall if this was MSC, SCRC or Unity water ....can only use this trick once every three years.
