T20 is about money. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Wonder how hers compares to my daughter's.

Apparently all they did today was unpack, move the tables/chairs around, and then music from 2:30-3! I'm quite sure her teacher would tell a different story. :)
My kids are not back till tomorrow and the eldest going into year 11 doesn't start till Thursday. ( Private Schools higher fees less days)

At my recent stay at a Doubletree Hilton, I saw this contraption in my room. Not having seen such before, what the heck is it used for? Obviously its for hanging up shirts/jackets, but what are all the rest of the bits for?

It's a trouser press. First hit I found here: How to use

As I am not a gentleman traveller, I have never used one, except to hang up a jacket! :)

Interesting, this particular one had no moving parts, so I'm clueless how it would press ones trousers. Luckily for me ironing is a form of relaxation.

It isn't a "Trouser Press" - although the link you provided is for one.

They are called a "Clothes Valet" or "Suit Stand" - there was one in my AUH Hilton hotel suite on the weekend.

They are used to hang ones clothes and whatnot in a crease free and airy environment overnight before reusing them tomorrow. There often small areas to place coins, keys and other pocket items.

[-]SWMO[/-] SWMBO scored one from a garage sale or some such a decade ago.

We have one in our clothing room. Yes, we have an actual room.
Ours is standing in a quiet corner of our bedroom - with clothes and pocket paraphernalia. Saves fossicking though the wardrobe when preparing for a new day ...

A tale of 2 leaks.
Last year whilst away we developed a leak in a water pipe on our property.Unity watersaid tough luck and pay up-$1800.
Today mrsdrron found another water leak. This time before our meter.Rang Unity water. The team there within 30 minutes and 20 minutes later all fixed with the pipe replaced.

We've had the same. The leak in the property was around the same $$ however, I got a plumber to fix and confirm the cause was an underground leaky pipe - got my money back! Can't recall if this was MSC, SCRC or Unity water ....can only use this trick once every three years.

Have you tried to get a credit?

We had a leak on our property. City West water didn't want nothing to do with because it was on our side.

It was quite a complicated fix, as the leak was underground under some concrete with the pipe quite far down. Not sure if it was the drought in MEL and the clay soils in our area or the Asian pine tree (not sure which species) whose roots had gone everywhere in search of water.

Anyway we were prepared to call a plumber but my father insisted on fixing it himself. He figured out where the leak would roughly be and cut up the concrete to find the leak.
Suffice it to say, he made the bypass to go around the concrete at that section!

Pretty good for a bloke in his mid 70's! I wonder how much he saved on that bit of handy work?

I have a relative who puts a lot of personal "stuff" on FB. I'd be cringing if I was married to her. It's just stuff that most people might think but don't spread it across the web. I don't understand this need to "share".

I read an article the other day that suggests Facebook is already in decline and could be dead by 2020. Others say it could be dead earlier by 2017.

I certainly hope so and will put in some extra prayers for Facebook's early demise....

You may pray for Facebook's demise, but you may not like the successors to it......

I know where we are headed.

Ever heard of the Borg collective? We are trying hard to emulate them in every way. I want to remain an individual. I dont need the collective knowledge.
